hemp is the safest 'woody' bedding type for small animals and my girls love to burrow in this. i just wish it was as cheap as it is in the UK, where hemp bedding is significantly cheaper than paper bedding. This 18L lasts me two cage cleans in my 50gal tank, so around two months.

I recently switched to this as bedding for my rats and I'm quite pleased with it. Definitely absorbs odors and lasts longer than paper and my rats seem happy too. It's low/no dust too which is important for their respiratory health.

For the money I paid I didn't get much. This is only good for nesting boxes, the bags of the hemp bedding were very small! I was hoping it would have been enough for my coop.

I’ve used pine bedding in my brooders for years but always wanted to try hemp. The higher price kept me from trying it sooner. It’s worth it! It lasts much longer making it probably cheaper in the long run and smells better too.

Very expensive and I found it was not effective in retaining moisture like the other litter products I have tried. am afraid that I would have to say that I wear not happy with the product at all!
