I purchased this because of it's design and size. Unfortunately, the item came defective for me with missing parts. After reaching out to customer service I was able to get a quick resolution and response to my issue. They were extremely focused on making sure I was satisfied. I would purchase from this seller again simply because of this. The product itself needs assembly but it was pretty simple. This should NOT be used for guinea pigs. My guinea pigs were in this cage for less than 30 minutes before one fell from the top layer and got his leg stuck in one of the ramps. If we were not there to help him, he could have broken his leg or could have died. The platforms are entirely way too small for even my small and young guinea pigs, so how could they possibly be big enough for a full grown guinea?? There is not nearly enough air flow to keep them safe and keep their temperatures regulated, the front panels are some weird acrylic thing that bent with every touch, the bottom tray cannot even be pulled out without throwing bedding everywhere, and oh yeah, IT NEARLY KILLED MY GUINEA PIGS. This product might be fine for small hamsters or mice or something with more agility if used with a lot of caution and you watch your pets for the first few hours, but the fact that this is specifically advertised for guinea pigs is despicable. This is not a safe product and I would not recommend it to anyone, especially guinea pig owners. The sellers were also awful when requesting a return, but that is something you can read more on at the seller's page as my original review was declined for explaining my horrendous experience with the sellers. I’ve received this item and though it was easy to assemble, the design and choice of materials could have been better. The paint job could have been better, the ramps for my Guinea pigs are a little steep and not enough room due to the locations on the middle tier, and the wood is not of good quality. First off, I think it should be mentioned that you will have to put together the cage yourself. Might have been obvious but I was hoping it came put together, either way it's pretty easy to put together (recommend 2 people). Although overall the cage came out better than I had expected. It looked kind of small in the photos for guinea pigs but it houses my two pigs well. As for the other review that complained about the different levels not having fall protection, my pigs have been smart enough so far to not fall yet. I also really liked the openings on the top and front of the cage to be able to open, although it is a little more difficult to clean up though than a normal cage. ... show more

nice, easy to assemble, bottom tray was damaged and warped but it fits. a few problems i have is 1 the ramps need to be held up to remove or put tray back. 2 the sides with cage part. bedding gets thrown out. i had to put something there to keep it all in. overall nice
