My kitten loves this! She uses the whole thing except the scratching surface. She especially loves sleeping in the little hut and laying on the hammock. My only complaint (which it looks like many other people have had), is that the pom-poms don't stay on. My kitten ripped them both off almost immediately and she was just a few months old. We've tied them back on over and over and she keeps getting them off. One is completely destroyed at this point and we've only had it for a couple of months. I bought one when we had one cat. I liked it so much that I bought another when we got our second cat. In hot weather (even though they are indoors in air conditioning) both sleep in the hammocks above when the weather is chilly ( even though they stay indoors , where it is heated) they curl up in the lower bunks. Originally, I bought it because there is a scratching place on one side of the X, but the cat still scratched a handy moving box. They may change their minds and use the scratching post provided, but it hasn't happened yet. ... show more

This does exactly what you think it would. It’s easy to assemble, only needing to be folded out, and easy to store, as it folds completely flat. It is a bit tippy, but that’s to be expected. Besides, it hilarious to see the cats launch up onto it and go flying. One of my cats doesn’t like to feel cornered, so I don’t see her in the bottom hidey hole. If you’ve got a nervous baby, best to find something with a bit more space so they don’t feel too trapped. ... show more

I purchased this item to be used in our RV when we travel and bring along our kitten. It is compact and folds up for storage when we are moving. So far the kitten likes the scratch post part but was not impressed with the little balls that dangle. We have a larger one at our house and the play balls are on an elastic string. These are not so there is no movement in them when he is playing with them. I purchased some elastic thread and replaced the string that came on it and now he is having a ball playing with them! I would recommend using elastic - that would have given this item a 5 star rating. ... show more

I'll start with what I love. It folds up easy. Has a scratching area and a place to hide underneath. What my cat likes. From 2-4 months she loved the bottom part. Now that she's bigger she really doesn't use it. She loved playing with the toys hanging off. Unfortunately we had to remove them because she kept getting her paw stuck when it wrapped around her paw and as she pulled it would tighten and she couldn't get loose. She is now 6 months old and still sleeps on it regularly. We move it in the bedroom at night and back to the livingroom by the couch during the day. She gets upset if we forget to move it in the morning. Now things to keep in mind. She has tipped it over several times. She pretty aggressively jumps on it and usually has no problem. I also had to tack the corners where staples came loose. I just used a small nail and it's super secure now. Overall I am happy with this purchase and so is my cat. ... show more
