I've been shooting action pistol competitions for 6 years and have shot many different red dots from numerous mfgs. This sight is by far the best I've ever used. The brightness and clarity of the dot in sunny conditions is unmatched. I would have to reduce the brightness 2 full settings to equal the maximum brightness of my Vortex Razor red dot. No more searching for my dot after making stage transitions or losing the dot when the sun is in my face. This is a must have optic for competition shooters. I would not recommend for use on your every day carry defensive pistol, it's just not designed for this type of use. Mounting is easy, comes with long screws that can be easily shaved off with a Dremel like tool. No need to buy extra screws for Glock or Springfield adapter plates if you can cut the screws yourself. I verified with Trijicon that the SRO I received was authentic. It shipped fast, and was even insured (required signature). I was worried when I saw the seller was a company i hadnt heard of with a name like ABCD. However, it turns out it was authentic, fast shipping, and everything is great!

I have purchased SRO’s in the past and know how they are packaged. Batteries do not come installed and screws don’t come with white thread locker. It appears there was an install attempt but unsuccessful. The item is authentic and not a scratch on it. All paperwork, tools, screws, and sticker were in the box so I decided to keep it.
