I had a Britta pitcher we used for water in the fridge. I ended up installing a RO system to filter our water, which works great. The problem was, the Britta filter was not needed any more and it also allowed food smells/tastes in the fridge to permeate the water from the top of the pitcher. This pitcher was a great solution. 1st, it fits perfectly under the goose neck of the RO spout (you can unsnap the pivot top during fill). Next, it is narrow so it doesn't take a lot of room in the fridge like the Britta did. Last, the pitcher is sealed to keep out tastes and odors. The water from it makes the best coffee. ... show more

This is a great size and love the thin construction so fits nicely in the fridge. Came packaged in a sturdy cardboard box so it was not crushed or damaged.

This is a very good 1 gal / 4 liter pitcher that I use for tea. The elongated design works well in my refrigerator. The top is very secure, and the closure of the spout is very strong. My two negatives is that the spout cover can come off easier than I like and the elongated design puts the center of gravity further from the handle. I bought this for my brother-in-law to make his ice tea. The lid fits nicely and doesn’t leak when pouring. Easy to clean .

This container is very durable! However I had a really difficult time with opening the lid - broke a nail. Holds a true gallon!
