This hammock stand is very sturdy and feels rock solid and high quality throughout. It's entirely tool free to set up. You basically just fold it open, click some cross bars in place and you are done in minutes. The frame is surprisingly lightweight and easy to move. I found that this frame looks a lot better in person than on the product photos, the chrome finish looks nice. The hammock itself is ok. It's reasonably comfortable but a quite plastic-y and not very large. It's a bit smelly and needs a wash out of the box, which could prove tricky with the metal hardware integrated in it. It came on time, looked just like the picture and was easy to assemble. But it is too low to the ground for a larger person or even 2 grown people. This would be great for kids. They returned it without incident, so we are satisfied. Thanks.

Love the sturdiness and comfort of both the stand and hammock. Using it outside on the patio. Bought grey but the hammock fabric weave is shiny and makes it look metallic silver...blinding in the sun. Review update 4 yrs later: This hammock is still going strong and I have no regrets buying it! It has lasted 3 summer seasons outside and was just put out for the fourth. I bought this as a present for my husband on his birthday. It was really comfortable and he enjoyed it the first time. After he sat on it the 2nd time the metal screw started to bend and tear into the frame support. He is only 200lbs so is nowhere near the weight limit. It was unfortunately just past the return period when I gave it to him. It has been over a month and no response from the company for a replacement part or hammock. Extremely disappointing paying all of that to sit in a hammock once. Do not buy this or anything from Tranquillo with absolutely no customer service. ... show more

We bought the silver/chrome one to replace a different brand (the broken black hammock you see it in the background of our picture). This one is easy to put together. The hammock and stand holds our 475lbs total, 6'1" tall easily but the hammock that comes with it is a little narrow for two chunky adults. Will try a wider hammock with the stand. The picture in the instructions differ slightly than the product; our hook faces the opposite direction. Glad it comes with a bag. Will update if anything major changes. ... show more

No way this is a two person hammock unless you are small people or wanna lay on top of one another. I'm 6ft2 and my son is 5'10 and 13 years old and we both can't lay on it together for no room.
