  • High quality griddle
Style: Grill
Really happy with my Flatrock purchase. It was easy to set up and I’ve had a good experience with it so far. We bbq’d this past weekend with friends and family and cooked tacos on it. The chicken, steak, bell peppers, onions, and tortillas fit on the griddle all at once and cooked evenly. Cleanup was easy with the grease trap and no grill grates or frying pans to clean. Everyone had great things to say! ... show more

  • My husband loves it!
Style: Grill
I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day and he is so happy with it! It makes everything taste better! Easy to use, easy to clean! It is better than the blackstone in my opinion as far as appearance and performance. I don’t even think they’re in the same league when it comes to quality although the price point is similar. ... show more

  • Versatile
Style: Grill
The more I use my flat rock the happier I am with my purchase. The Traeger is built solid, has even temperature edge to edge, has loads of cooking space, and the huge shelf’s fold up nicely.

  • Nice grill, a few quirks
Style: Grill
I had been researching different grills and the Traeger never even crossed my mind. I got this as a gift- honestly I would never spend $900 for a grill, but here we are. Assembly: First off, the parts were packaged well and easy to figure out. It took two of us to put it together over a few hours and I was not happy with some of the tolerances left between parts which made it very difficult to access nuts and bolts to tighten them in between spaces with a wrench. I had to break out different hand tools (could not rely on supplied tools) to get this right and even had to bend some metal. Had they designed this so that you could fight a socket in some spots, assembly would have went way faster and tighter. Accidentally scratched the hood during assembly, so disappointed the paint is a little thin. Black sharpie to the rescue. Features: Not a fan of the gas tank meter. Basically you need a full tank of propane to "calibrate" it and then I guess it must sense and read the weight of the tank after that. The manual says you only have to do this once, but I have not tried swapping out a 1/2 tank to see if it recognizes it. The LED meter lights are BRIGHT. Like painfully bright. The grill feels like quality and a solid build (unlike their smokers, which I found to feel cheap). I like the folding side shelves- really reduces the overall size when not in use so it doesn't look like the grill is taking over your deck. I do not like the accessory rack or the thick utensil holder hooks which become useless if you fold down the shelves. The clips are huge and can only be used with grill tools that have a big ring or leather strap. The front grease trap/hole is a win, though figuring out how to install the grease channel piece from the griddle to the bucket was confusing and the directions were weak. Not sure if that even comes out for cleaning. The bucket holder is also weird. There does not appear to be a stop at the back of it or a catch in the front that positions the bucket/catch in a locked position. Its very easy to bump or move the grease cup handle too far forward or too far back possibly leaving it off enough to where grease can come down the chute and miss the bucket. Use: Heats up fast. The iron will be blazing within 5 minutes, heats evenly and I have not found any dead spots. Made the mistake of putting some water on the grill to clean it when it had not cooled down enough and the entire griddle warped and twisted inside the grill. After it cooled it went back to its proper shape. Not sure if I am too short or if its the height of the grill, but I find things like bacon or really fatty burgers spit grease everywhere, including on me, so I would suggest an apron. Directions say not to close the lid when cooking (?), but I have done it to avoid splatter and it doesn't appear to cause issues (warping or overheating the lid). Clean up is surprisingly fast. Buy a heavy duty quality metal scraper to scrape bits and grease off the griddle, then lightly oil any bare spots. Literally takes 1 minutes to clean this thing. I had a small Blackstone tabletop propane iron griddle and it was a pain to clean and rusted fast. So far after 2 months outside in the humidity, not a spot of rust on the Traeger. Overall, this is a modern looking, very stylish grill that does it all. So far I have made burgers, chicken thighs, steaks, bacon- everything comes out great. Smoke some chicken and get a crispy skin from the grill or smoke and sear a steak on it. Next project will be to try and ditch the tanks and hook this directly to a propane line. The grill cover for this is a must and is 5 star. ... show more

I love using this thing and so does my whole family. I've had no problems with the griddle so far. It came just as expected, and the delivery process was easy.
