I was searching for a new set of dishes when I found these. I loved the style & color, but failed to check out the material composition. It’s basically a type of thin plastic & I would never have made this purchase had I known that. Also, why would any company in their right mind make dishes that can’t be used in the microwave? In 2023? I was actually microwaving some food as I read on the box (dishes cleaned, I was breaking down box for recycling) not to be used in the microwave! The dishes are cheap feeling, too. Not worth the price. Still looking for a quality set with a style & color I like. Edit: The company reached out to me and gave me a full refund. I also noticed that there is now a more prominent statement that these plates are not to be used in the microwave. I raised my review to 4 stars. Thank you. ... show more

I’m so disappointed they arrived with a sticker on a damaged corner that says Amazon inspected and the bowls were broken no kidding based on the crushed corner. I ordered the teal set, hoping that they would not be too bright, and was pleasantly surprised with the color. I thoroughly inspected each piece and there was no breakage, cracks, or chips. They are nice and thick and will probably last forever. Love them!
