I had one broken salad plate, which was shocking since they are packaged extremely well, I contacted Amazon and it was taken care of immediately. I love the set! It's beautiful, well made and quite durable. So much so that I ordered a second set, along with 4 pasta bowls and 4 custard cups. However, when I received the set, there was a chip on one of the salad plates even though it was packed very well and face down. It appears to have been on the plate during packing since the dinnerware was wrapped in foam and surrounded by additional foam. I don't want to return the entire set for just one plate. That being said, if you like this set, I would encourage anyone interested in it, to definitely buy it, but carefully inspect each piece. ... show more

These are quality dishes and the color is exactly as described. The issue is they are SO HEAVY, and loading them in and out of the dishwasher, and lifting them into and out of the cabinets is way too much. Also they are a bit oversized, so it gets a bit tricky if you have a small dishwasher interior. If they were a little lighter weight I’d likely keep them, but sadly they’re going back. ... show more
