The quality of this bike is very high for the value. Most E-Bikes several thousand dollars with similar functions. This is my first bike with motor integrated into the crank and so far it is great. I can still ride just like a normal geared bike when I want with no resistance from the motor. The last e-bike I had with a rear hub motor had resistance when not using the motor. The controls and assist adjust are easy to use. The bike is a little heavy with the battery installed, however its easy to remove the battery for transport. Their customer service was also amazing. Reached out over an issue with the front tire and they responded within an hour and helped me correct the problem quickly. I will update this review as I start using the bike more. I’m giving the Totem Ranger Ebike a solid rating based on its incredible price point and overall performance, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The build quality is excellent. The bike feels well-constructed with solid materials that inspire confidence in its durability. The comfortable, upright riding position with high bars is great for long rides, making it easy to stay relaxed while cycling. The display is modern and bright, even in direct sunlight, making it easy to keep track of your ride. For the price, this bike offers amazing value. The 750w motor with a 1500w peak is powerful enough for most riders, giving solid acceleration and good performance on both flat roads and inclines. The 15Ah battery provides adequate range for this price point. The charging cable feels well-made and more premium than most bike charging cables. There are a couple of drawbacks, though. The throttle has a safety feature that prevents it from working until you've started rolling, which can be a bit inconvenient at first. The bike is also limited to a top speed of 20mph, although I was able to get it up to 22mph on a flat stretch, which is a nice little bonus. Overall, the Totem Ranger Ebike is a solid option if you're looking for a good bike at a great price. ***Here's an update after riding the bike for about a month. The plastic cover for the battery does not fit tightly, and has fallen off several times. The last ride, it fell off AGAIN. I didn't notice it was gone until the next ride. I went back to retrace my steps and couldn't find it anywhere. I contacted Totem about buying a replacement cover, and they give me a price of $25.00. Over priced, but fair enough. However, they wanted to charge an additional $25 for shipping. Absolutely ridiculous shipping price for a flat piece of plastic that weighs just a few ounces. I'd like to give it 3.5 stars, but Amazon doesn't allow half stars, so 4 it is. It's still worth the money, but it does include some annoyances. ... show more

The Totem Atlas has the quality you would expect to find on more expensive ebikes. I ride it 40 miles (on PAS 2) a day and usually have 2 bars left on the battery charge indicator. This ebike is great for getting a workout while being able to maintain a speed of 20 mph on a cruiser. At the price it is being offered, it is an excellent value and is rapidly becoming my favorite diamond frame bicycle for errands. I am impressed with the quality and finish of the Atlas.     • Rear tire issues
The bike is sturdy but I’ve had major issues with the rear tire popping every time I ride. I ride the bike less than 2 miles to work and each time the rear tire pops. I am waiting for possible resolutions due to labor to replace each time.

Very easy to assemble. I bought my wife a Giant LaFree for $2100 and this Totem Cruiser for me at $999 on sale. So far this bike performs as well or better than the higher priced bike. It also has more features and has a better battery life. This is my second e-Bike and I love it!

    • Kinda funky looking, but sure is fun!
I love riding this weird-looking thing around town. I use a level 3 pedal assist and I can easily get 50 miles or more out of a single charge.
