I clearly followed instructions when mounting this with the command strips that came with this mount. It's been a week and this mount is perfectly placed by my bed. I have my bed placed by the wall and I want to save space for other items on my nightstand. This wall mount is perfect for my 2 remotes and my cellphone to be placed in it to charge all night long. Great idea but poorly designed. It is not possible to place the four remotes in the holder as pictured because there is a 1” high divider in the middle at the bottom. You can place 2 remotes to the left and another 2 to the right of the divider but only if 1 of the 2 is narrow. I have 3 wide remotes and the middle remote rests on top of the divider and leans to the side. There is no need for the divider. The holder was shipped well packaged, with 4ea. 3M removable adhesive strips and good instructions. I will continue to use the holder and not return it. ... show more

Perfect. Exactly what I wanted...an aesthetically pleasing way to keep remotes from my toddler, but still in a convenient place and not take up space. Boom! Got it! Easily goes up with the adhesive strips. Strong hold. Got kids...you want this!

Pros: -Helps organize the many remotes that were never where I needed them. -Nice fit and finish with 2 dividers included for the 3 remote version (see below) -3M Command Strips (4 for 3 remote version) included which work well on smooth surfaces like a bedside table. There are also 3 screw holes and 3 screws included if you want a more permanent install. -Dust holes in the bottom Cons: -There are no instructions and you probably wouldn't need them if it weren't for the small plastic dividers. At first I thought these were for smoothing out the adhesive since they were curved on one side. However, they fit into groves on the inside of the remote holder. Don't throw them out. I read a few reviews that complained that remotes fall over. Well, I guess they would if the dividers aren't installed. -Fingerprint magnet. Not much of an issue if you just put the remotes in and take them out. However the gloss plastic finish shows every fingerprint. -It's not deep enough for all remotes. Yes it will fit a Roku, Apple TV, Google 4K TV or thin remotes for LED strip lights. However, it won't fit remotes that are thicker than 1.5". For example, it will not fit a TiVo remote. -Pretty expensive for what it is: a couple pieces of plastic. -The bottom isn't flat with the dust holes and overall configuration. If the dividers aren't installed, the remotes tend to fall over. Even with them installed, they may lean against the divider. Overall if cost isn't a deal-breaker, it works and achieves the objective of adding a bit of organization to the pile of remotes that most have all over the place. It would have been better if it was made about a 1/4" deeper to accommodate slightly thicker remotes like the TiVo. ... show more

This remote control holder is adequately sturdy, pretty easy to install, and seems to stay stuck to the wall nicely. If you have three remotes I can recommend the product. If you have four remotes, you might want to give it some thought. The problem is that they provide two dividers, which results in three compartments. Place your remote in a compartment and the product holds it upright and available, even when the other remotes are not in the holder. If you have four remotes you can't use the dividers; the resulting three compartments are not of adequate size for the fourth remote. The remedy is easy: don't use the dividers. Now, however, you have an open space that doesn't hold the remotes upright. They can fall over and flop down into the bottom, where you have to expend effort to retrieve them. If you want to take advantage of the positive aspects of this product but have more than three remotes, I suggest getting two of them. All of your remotes will be held upright and available, and you can use the other spaces to store something else such as reading glasses or swizzle sticks. ... show more

Works great and functions great. This is exactly what I was looking for since I don’t have enough room beside my bed for a nightstand to put all my remotes on. My only gripe (which was my own fault, NOT the fault of the product) is that it fell off day one because I either over weighted the product or didn’t ensure that the tape was properly stuck on there and wasn’t gonna go anywhere. Got some new 3M tape and it has been working like a charm ever since. Also TotalMount has fantastic customer service, they emailed me a couple days after delivery to ask my thoughts of it and any feedback I may have. The only feedback I was able to give was to add in at least one extra piece of 3M tape (the product comes with 4 pieces) but for people who make silly mistakes such as myself would have really benefited from that 5th piece of 3M tape as a backup if you make a mistake. ... show more
