I ordered this item on 12/16 (Wednesday night) and expected date for delivery was 12/23-12/29. I received it 12/18 (Friday). Delivery was fast and unsuspected. Which was great. I own a lot of gym equipment and recently hurt my lower back in an auto accident. I am able to lay back and peddle with no pain to my lower back. I love this addition to my total gym.     • Perfect For Me
I have issues trying to use a stationary bike recumbent or not. This solved my issue. Really smooth action and easy to use. I love I can leave it attached to my Total Gym Fit although, it's really easy to attach. Really glad I bought it.

I like my cyclotrainer better than a recumbent bike . It is not for an extreme workout, but very convenient. At the max, it works well for me. I love the lack of annoying electronics.     • Impossible to assemble completly and correctly!
This was the very first item received out of the whole order of many attachments including the Total Gym itself which arrived later. Attempting to put the "Cycle Trainer 2" together was a nightmare with welded-sleeved bolt holes misaligned enough to prevent assembly. Obviously no quality-control preassembly attempt before sending the unit to a customer. Normally in cases like this with a non-critical but necessary components I would have just simply drilled out a little larger hole which would mitigate the misalignment problem, but the way this piece was built would have required a milling machine with a precision lock-down jig, not a simple hand power drill. I continued to spend hours attempting different ways to get the parts aligned just enough to at least get the bolts started and finally succeeded. Only one of the two bolts was aligned enough to secure the bolt all the way but the other just jammed part way down and would not go any further. The components were solidly locked together in the end so I called it good as it would not interfere with the unit operation. Having this happen on the very first of many components and not even having gotten the main Total Gym unit itself made me seriously doubt my judgement of even ordering a Total Gym and all of the attachments site-unseen! The main unit finally arrived and has its own concerning negative quality issues but that is another review! I have yet to actually try the cycle part because of all the other components I am checking out but it should work ok. ... show more

    • Can Be a Gr8 TG Accessory!
I like the additional levels of workouts i.e. beginner, intermediate, and advanced choices one can do with the CT2. Like that it comes with the DVD for 15 min.; 30 min; and 45 min. workouts. This is my 2nd one because own 2 TG's. What I don't like is that it doesn't fit my latest TG commercial model update, the GTS. Please make a CT2 model that fits the large crossbar for the GTS. Unfortunately, during first use of this one, discovered an internal and pedal defect and had to return. Didn't want to return. Amazon and vendor were very helpful; great customer service!     • Noise to accompany you...
At 13:24 minutes, it starts making a creeking terrible and persistent noise. I bought this as an alternative to a standard bike due to lower back issues. Don't by this if you plan on using it on a semi regular basis. Unless of course you want the noise as a constant companion....
