I purchased this to make a circular wristlet and it’s not disappoint. The fabric is soft and pliable. I was able to sew this using a leather needle on a domestic machine. I like it so much that I purchased 5 other colors.

I bought this to recover some old bar stools. First things first- it smells awful to me. That’s the reason for 4 stars because I had to deal with the awful smell. I actually left it outside for weeks before I even used it. It didn’t get rid of the smell completely, but made it more bearable. If you can get past that though, it’s pretty good stuff. Oh also once I covered my stools, I couldn’t smell the smell anymore. When I did the first stool, I didn’t think to iron it- so there is a crease through the middle of one of them (rear stool in photo) that I assumed would just work its way out over time, but it has been six months since I recovered that stool and the crease is still there. With subsequent stools, I used a Teflon pressing sheet (16x20”) and ironed it on both sides (using the cotton setting on the iron) until the creases were gone and now it looks awesome. Faux leather on top, felt-like feel on underside, just as described. Good product. Don’t worry about the complaints about smell in other reviews. There is nothing surprising or extreme about that at all. And the folds are nothing to worry about either, they are not permanent.

Worked very well, nice quality. The wrinkles from shipping smoothed out after I left the material out in the sun for a while and disappeared after being stretched over the chair. Would use again.

I was hesitant to get this because a lot of people mentioned that it had a very strong foul odor and it needed to air out outside. It didn't have any odor at all. It was also the perfect color and style that I was looking for to upholster my dining room chairs. It's the perfect thickness to be durable, but easy to cut and work with. The media could not be loaded. First off. Eww. It SMELLS like it’s been manufactured inside an actual FISH MARKET. I’m holding my breath while I’m cutting until it airs out. If you can get past the foul smell, it’s actually a decent fabric. Soft. Very leather-like. Reddish brown rather than a true brown. So if you’re needing a true brown, this ain’t it.
