I ordered the Stitch Artist by Embrilliance first and then decided that I needed more fonts, etc. so I ordered Essentials. I am really glad I did. This thing I like about Embrilliance software is that it comes in modules. In the past I haven't ordered embroidery software from other places because it is so expensive. The price of some of the software out there is overwhelming and possibly difficult to learn. Embrilliance, because it does come in the form of modules makes it more affordable to purchase. I have found it very easy to learn and use. There are many YouTube videos out there giving tutorials and that is fantastic. I would highly recommend Lisa Shaw from Sew Bubbles. Her videos have launched me into the world of machine embroidery. Essentials is a basic starting point for machine embroidery. It comes with quite a few fonts and that is great. Also, resizing is easy. I found the "merge" feature to really come in handy. I am a novice at machine embroidery but with Embrilliance Essentials and Stitch Artist I am already on my way to greater things with my embroidery/sewing machine. This is the best embroidery software for every level of user, very easy to use and learn. The more I've used, the more I like. It provides various function to help you to achieve your design idea. The best part about this product is you can get learning resource easily through Youtube as long as you type the right key word for your question. Before I purchased it, I was worried about learning barrier as I knew nothing about embroidery and even did not know how the computer embroidery machine works. I had to learn from beginning a little by little. Fortunately, this product provides such a convenience for user. I needed a lettering program after my computer lost everything on it. Had old lettering software that can't get anymore. This has more than I need. It has mammogram and several other things that I don't need but if you were to buy it is great. I'm too old to learn the other stuff but looks like an easy program to use. ! ... show more

This is a nice product and easy to use, just watch the videos. It is a bit expensive and you could end up spending thousands for any upgrades you want to purchase. I think they should at least have a combination on one CD or download of all their products or at least two products, like the thumb-nailer and essentials bundled.     • Very Good Program
Since I am new to machine embroidery, it took me a few months of on/off using the program to get some mastery of it. There are lots of YouTube videos about different aspects of Embrilliance that I found extremely helpful. I also printed out the manual, which I like better than using it online. The program uses bx fonts which means you can type out words all together instead of importing one letter at a time and having to individually line the letters up and space them. It merges, resizes, fits designs to the hoop, and automatically adjusts density when size of design is changed. It is a very good program at a very reasonable price. I haven't added any of the other modules like Alphatricks, and don't feel I need to. ... show more
