This oven came highly recommend. I can see why! It’s made so well. It’s a pretty color! It came with so many helpful things to start sublimating. I like the oven mitts provided. They are thick and good quality so you don’t get burned removing things. I like that it comes with shrink wrap sleeves. That’s so helpful! Heat tape is also included. I literally just plugged this in and used it. The instructions provided were very clear and precise. It heats up really fast. Less than a minute to get to temperature. I like that it beeps when it’s at temp and then as soon as you open the door, place your item, and close the door, it begins counting the time down. The buttons are easy to navigate and set. My project came out perfect! The only wish I have to make this oven even better is to have another tray included. I would like the option to have a few layers to sub with, otherwise this sub oven is perfect for your substrates. ... show more

I purchased because my tumbler/mug heat press was not transferring my designs completely on my mugs. So far, so good. I made three tumbler for the first time, at the same time; they came perfect. Great value and heats to the correct temperature.

I was using a full-sizws gas oven to sublimate tumblers, mugs, pens, etc. But after moving into a home with a tiny propane oven, this was no longer an option. Tried unsuccessfully to use a convection oven, but it was burning the paper, ghosting, and scorching the image. Bought this oven after reading tons of reviews and watching many you tube comparison videos by tip crafter and I'm so glad I did. It works just as well as my large gas oven, takes up the same counter space in my workshed as a regular toaster oven and seems much more durable. I did not notice any obtrusive odors. The color is cute too. Hoping to get the vacuum sublimation kit for christmas that fits this oven so I can make phone cases, plates, and other non-flat blanks that are not possible with regular shrink wrap. ... show more

My poor old tumbler press...Rest in peace old fella. I really love how idiot proof this thing is. First off, it cuts my production time down significantly. It states in the description that you can sublimate 4 20oz tumblers at once. I only feel comfortable doing 3 at a time because at 360 degrees the shrink wrap tends to get a little gooey and they want to stick to each other. With my tumbler press, I struggled with darker images. No matter how tightly I wrapped, no matter the layers of tape I used I always had those thin little white spaces that ghosted on me driving my OCD to its brink. This fixed it !!! I would shy away from sublimating dark images because of this. Not any more !!! Bring it on ! This however would not be an honest review if I didn't mention one con... My only gripe is that unlike my dear departed old tumbler press, this oven does not maintain its temperature after a batch of tumblers go through it. In other words, once the cycle is complete, do not think you're just going to slide the next batch in. You have to wait for the oven to 'pre-heat' after each cycle. But seriously, if that is enough to keep you from buying this little wonder, you're pickier than I am. ... show more

Pro- I kept having problems with my tumbler seams and my ends having air pockets or burning dark colors on the ends. I went through 4 tumbler brands before deciding to try an oven. This solved all my problems. Cons- 1: I wish the basket could fit the shape of the oven better. The sides are sort of rounded. If the sides were vertical they would take up less space. 2: I thought I had defective tumblers from a new vender. Little pieces kept chipping or having marks along the bottom edges. But then I realized that when I was rolling the tumblers I was lifting the front and rolling them a quarter turn twice and laying them right back down in their same spot. What I didn’t realize is that the sublimation coating softens up while the sublimation process is occurring. That must aide the transfer. As I rolled them they were either getting small marks along the bottom edges or the sub coating was actually getting scraped off down to the stainless color. Now I know I need to just roll them into a new position. I wish the basket had some kind of silicone pad or wire rail covers that fits in the basket so nothing gets scraped off or scratched. I’m guessing it would need holes in it like the ones that get used on grills. ... show more
