  • MUCH BETTER THAN THE NECK STRAP.
Color: Brown
IT'S BETTER THAN THE NECK STRAP, BUT IT HAS A TENDENCY TO CURL UP AROUND THE NECK. I'LL HAVE TO TRY DIFFERENT ADJUSTMENTS.

  • Not durable
Color: Chestblack
**Edit** The seller reached out to me with great customer service and corrected the issue. Because of that, I would buy from them again! My son has used this harness for about a month. The swivel clasp broke last night during a show. This was used for a bari sax.

  • Well made, but clearly not made for large players.
Color: Black
I got this shoulder harness to use on tenor and bari sax, and it's incredibly well made and feels super sturdy. I've had the chance to play with it a few times, and I'm still struggling to find the right bend to relieve the most weight from my neck, which has lead me to believe this harness isn't meant for large-bodied musicians. I'm fat -- 300 pounds, 6'1" -- and there's absolutely no way I could fit into the harness if I had it bent like the pictures show. I don't know if I could even bend it over my knee with that sharp a curve! (See the pictures for the curve I'm currently using) Without the drastic curve that the pictures show, the harness wants to pull down and rest the back-binding on my neck. The pressure it places on my neck is still lower -- in both position and intensity -- than a typical neck strap, even when it slips all the way down, so that's a plus, but it's not what I was hoping for. Something that I've found that helps is moving the binding to the bottom hole in the harness (Again, see the pictures), which forces the bottom to stay together, instead of trying to overlap like it wanted to do before I did that (I get the feeling that whoever designed this strap never met someone with a neck as large as mine!). I'll keep using it, as it's at least an upgrade from my Rico strap, at least in terms of neck pressure, but I may have to finally admit that a traditional bra-style shoulder harness is what I need. By all means, give this strap a try; just keep in mind it's a lot smaller than the pics make it look. ... show more

  • Needed for neck relief.
Color: Chestblack
Strap has multiple adjustments and really helps distribute the weight of the saxophone off of the neck.

  • So far so good
Color: Chestblack
I got this harness mainly for bari saxin the mail this morning and my first impressions are astounding in school I had one that was similar but my number one complaint was that it wasn't adjustable enough to accommodate my rather small stature with this bad boy no problem as for comfort when compared to most of the regular neck straps the difference is like wearing high heels (they are alright for a little while but eventually you just can't keep them on) and putting on a comfortable pair of tennis shoes that while maybe not looking the best they just fit you perfectly to sum it up my first impressions are flat out great and I'm excited to try it out for extended playing ... show more

  • It doesn't fit.
Color: Chestblack
I had to return it. Too large for me. The hook is too low and the harness is not that comfortable. When I placed it in an almost decent height for me it started sliding down with the weight of the sax due to the fixed measure of the straps since you can't stretch them anymore for the hook to ascend. Also, you have to set it up for a while. Takes some time and it feels like you're being hugged from behind while playing. Motion range gets affected too. It works for hanging the sax on your shoulders instead of your neck without any pain, but perhaps it's just a good option for tall people and motionless practice. ... show more

  • Good quality, but the hook is low
Color: Chestblack
I’m a small, female bari player, and the hook on this harness places my instrument too low to be useful. It’s not adjustable in that regard, and unfortunately I had to return it. Too bad, because it’s otherwise comfortable and the price is right.

  • Comfortable!
Color: Black
This strap is extremely comfortable. It distributes all the weight to the shoulders and removes all weight from the neck.
