    • Nice, but size didn’t work out
I bought this for my son for band. He plays saxophone and the neck strap has been bothering him as it pulls his neck downward because of the weight of the sax (think posture similar to a hunchback). However, it did not fit properly, and he could not get the saxophone up to his lips to even play once it was adjusted to fit him better. so I had to return it. It was a bit of a challenge to put it on the proper way as well. It also did not come with any instructions, as far as how to put it on, which way to put it on, and how much to adjust it so that it would fit the instrument, as well as my son. Had it fit right, it would have been great! That being said, the vintage look was nice and the quality appeared to be solid. I would recommend it, but only if there was a better way to measure and fit the person using it. Please note: I did not contact the seller about this issue, and it’s a bummer that it takes up to 30 days for a refund. ... show more

    • Saves stress on neck
My husband was complaining of sore neck muscles with old sax hook around his neck...this takes the stress off neck. Shoulder harness distributes weight more evenly without soreness after hours of playing.

    • Maybe a better with a alto sax
I wouldn’t recommend this item for a Bari saxophone. However, it may work better for an alto as a Bari is bigger n a lot more heavy. This seller reached out and we resolved this issue. Great communication just wasn’t ideal for my son! Please give it a try what didn’t work for us may work for you.

Did not fit my son, but seems like a solid product. A little challenging to figure out how to put on but also it was too big for him.

I was able to add a strap extension to the buckel. And also add an additional swivel hook to the to the sax hook, and a it works well.
