Missing parts. Amazon would not replace and Toro has given me the ru around. Sent me to a company that charges for the parts. Do not buy from Toro. They will not stand behind the e product. Terrible customer service.

    • My garden tiller
This tiller surprised me since it is somewhat smaller than my previous one and the horsepower is less. When I saw how well it plows the garden, I was in disbelief. I am very satisfied.

Like an idiot I purchased without reading the reviews first but after this I don't care if I ever read reviews again ! All I read was how hard it was to assemble, and how they didn't supply enough nuts and bolts and how nothing lined up. Well I DIDNT EVEN NEED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IT WAS SO EASY ! I put it together in 20 mins , checked the oil, and it fired up on the first pull! Toro is the bomb! I have a Toro snow blower as well. Great company, great machine ! Thanks Toro !! ... show more

Missing some of the bolts.went to the hardware store and picked some up found the handles and lever for tines awkward to use

    • Very powerful tiller
For an inexpensive tiller this thing is a beast. I bought a slightly cheaper Toro last yr and, I'll admit it, ran it dry on oil and burned up the engine. So I bought this model which was around $500 and what a difference, much better engineering and it just works. We have very hard clay soil and, while it has to work hard, will pound through it and does a great job. Starts on the first pull (amazing for a small engine) and is a workhorse. Now, with very hard soil, you have to go over it without the drag bar and it is going to jump all over, but if you go slowly and pull it back toward you it will dig in and eventually you can drop the drag bar to the first position and go over it again and eventually the deepest setting. This thing will take a beating and get the job done. On softer soil or one that has been tilled over before like an existing garden it is smooth as silk. Would recommend highly. ... show more

Underpowered, underweight, and completely useless unless you need to till some sand. Absolutely not a product you would expect from Toro. Please do not waste your money on this tiller.
