I shouldn't complain, it did it's job for the most part. Steel framework, ventilation and all that. But when it came time for flowering, I had to drape a moving blanket over top and sides during lights out. You should be able to buy a grow tent and not have to worry about light leaks around the seams or pin holes in the material. There's ways of doing it right and there's ways of doing it wrong. I just happened to have a thick enough blanket laying around that I could use and it worked. I think that unless a person forks out over three hundred for a grow tent, they can count on there being discrepancies. It shouldn't be that way but it is. The zippers never snagged or fell off track and the velcro vent covers fit snug around the vents. I never used it as a 2 in 1, I just wanted to have a shelf and this model did that for me. Has support bars for grow lights and sleeves on all the sides. The floor protector is this wimpy looking thing with velcro on all the corners. It's not thick and boxy looking so don't get to crazy with spillables. ... show more

    • Instructions Useless
Size: 48"X36"X72"
Only instructions were pictures on how to build the frame. NO instructions on how to put fabric on. Because if the tight fitting nature of cover, easier to assemble base, put it into the cover, then continue to build from there, inside the cover. Ackward but will make it easier.

    • Perfect *smaller* grow tent

The main grow section holds six 1-gallon grow-bags www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013JFHNNE/ or three 3-gallon planters. The smaller side section has an upper and a lower level. On the lower level I placed a humidifier and space heater (both of them are connected to control units which regulate the internal temperature and humidity levels, and are suspended on the outside of the tent so that the illuminated displays are easily visible and monitored). Also located on the lower level I placed a 4" ventilation fan inside one of the adjustable port holes to bring in fresh air at the bottom of the tent. On the upper level I placed a swivel fan, and germination/seedling trays. At the top, I put an in-line 4"-diameter exhaust fan connected with 4" flexible aluminum ducting tube to an air cleaner/odor eliminator and then to one of the built-in 4-inch ventilation ports to exhaust stale air from the top of the inside of the tent, which partnered with the ground level intake fan, brings in cooler fresh air at the bottom, and expels warm stale air out the top. Suspended from the sturdy steel framework are two lamps (I use LED full spectrum) with adjustable pulley rigging. We placed a comfy pet cushion on top of the tent for our cats to nap on. They love being up high, and so our grow tent doubles as a cat tree! We have it in the living room (where I can better keep a close eye on my "babies" better), and it fits in. It is as tall that I can stand next to it and rest my arms on the top so they're level. It does a fantastic job of blocking light leakage, and is very very sturdy. ... show more

I was a bit hesitant as you never really know what you're going to get when ordering tents. I never do reviews but i just HAD to. First the pros: - I managed to assemble it alone within 15 minutes. - The directions provided were extremely easy to follow - Each tube / item was labeled so it made following instructions VERY easy. - There is ZERO light entering from pin holes. Zip, Zilch, Zero. Nada! - The Zips have double light blockers - When fully constructed, it felt sturdy. - There was sufficient entry and exit holes for 8 to 10 inch piping as was as electrical cables. - All vent-able holes are double seal-able (inside and outside the tent) - The side compartments were EXACTLY what i was expecting - Most importantly, the zips for each compartments were placed so perfectly that it made it simple to do what i needed to instead of fighting with doors. Cons: - The side compartment's viewing windows are a bit low down so i had to bend when viewing through them. That's about it really. I've had multiple growers over and the looks of envy followed by "Ok, where can i get it and how much is it" happened each and every time. Would i buy this again? Heck yes. It has stream lined my little growing operation as I can use T5 lights for the seedlings, and move them into the next compartment for vegging. I have a different tent i use for flowering. This means i no longer have to rush or force my plants into vegging a certain way or flowering, I just move over when its ready. ... show more

    • Good tent, horrible instructions and zippers

The tent came with everything and when assembled is quite sturdy. The zippers are horrendous. I trimmed excess material as the zippers catch the material in their teeth and jump track. But the truly frustrating thing about this tent is the abysmally crafted instructions. Multiple models come printed on the same sheet and the instructions that were for my purchased tent were actually missing the placement of several peices, admittedly they were quite easy to place so this wasn't really an issue but there is no steps for the skin of the tent. There is no identification to determine the top from bottom etc... I did figure it out so it's not impossible but just keep in mind you're going to have figure this out using the vent holes. I would also suggest getting another pair of hands to assist with all of this as I did it solo in a small room. ... show more
