We got this house for an outdoor cat. The house was very easy to assemble. The heat pad works well, and is just the right amount of warmth. Inside is well insulated. Kitty loved it!

This house has came in very handy. Works like a charm the cat loves it. We had a stray outside cat. And she loves the warmth of the house. She rarely leaves the house very well insulated very heavy duty and waterproof. It’s a must buy if you have outside animals you want to keep warm.

Likes: Color and size; durable; It had a front and back opening; option to use heating pad; portable. The only 2 "tiny" complaints I have is that the roof was a little difficult to put on by myself. It almost needs 2 people because it is very awkward due to it's shape and not being able to get a visual of velcro placement without having to turn the house upside down to see what your doing. Also, it comes with a heating pad and a long cord, which is nice. The downsude is, the placement of the cord on the heating pad did not match up with the grommet on the corner of the house, where the cord pulls through. So the heating pad would not lie flat. So, I took it out and added some padding and will put some straw in it instead. It's been on our porch for about a week now and the stray cat that has adopted us and comes every night for food, looked at it once and has no interest whatsoever. I even tried to set the food bowl right up next to the doorway. I also took off one of the velcro'd door flaps, as I think that could be one reason the cat was hesitant. So far no interest, but I have some more tricks up my sleeve. ... show more

It was easy to put together and the soft padding to put down inside was a plus. We have a feral cat that comes to feed on our back deck and I wanted a warm place for her to shelter in in bad weather. She has adapted to it and I’m happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. We received this cat house as a gift, and our two 1-year-old cats took to it instantly! This was our first time using a heating pad, and the kitties LOVED it. (People have told us how much cats like heating pads ... they were not wrong!) In general, our cats don't sleep on the same bed together, so they don't use the house at the same time. But if you have two small cats that like to cuddle, they can probably fit inside together. There is no temperature or time control on the heating pad, but the temp seems "purrfect" for them. (Not too hot but very cozy!) We are cautious and don't leave it plugged in when we aren't at home to monitor them. If you're looking for a time-controlled option, you could always separately purchase a timer. (We have read that heating pads should be limited to about 20 minutes of use at a time.) It's very easy to set up, and everything attaches with either velcro or zippers. We use the house inside, so we have removed the plastic "doorways" that attach/detach with velcro. (Our cats love to run through it like a tunnel when they're playing chase.) But if you use the house outdoors, you may want the doorways for added protection from the elements. We have not used it outside, but the material is indeed sturdy and feels to be weather-proof. Very happy with our little cat clubhouse! It's also pretty cute! ... show more

Okay, I do not leave reviews often and was completely unsure about this product until I opened it up. All I can say is WOW!!!! This is fantastic quality, construction, easy to assemble and so adorable. Before I opened the box, I was anticipating having to spend some time assembling it. Let me tell you, it took about 2 minutes. This house comes in 6 pieces (only 4 shown in photo, I forgot the door flaps for outdoor use). The house itself is 1 piece with the wall joints attaching with full length Velcro. The roof has zippers on the 2 sides and the peak is held again with full length Velcro. Once that is attached, you can add the optional clear plastic door flaps from the inside, again with Velcro. The flaps have a slit in the middle for the kitties to easily go in and out. There are 2 pads included; 1 is an electric pad housed inside a zippered soft cover that can be removed for washing. The 2nd is a sturdy fleece pad. Moving onto the construction, this is made of high quality waterproof insulated materials with a wipeable surface. It has an adorable brick print with window and flowerpots. If using outdoors, there are straps with grommets to easily attach it to a floor surface to keep from blowing or sliding away. The power cord is a heavy duty chew resistant material, with an extra extension cord if needed. Whether you have indoor or outdoor cats, this house is fantastic to give them a place to feel warm and cozy. My kitties were instantly having "discussions" about who was ruler of the palace and they all love it! And even better, it can easily fit 2 larger cats together, or 3 smaller ones. (I have a Mainecoon and Ragamuffin and they were snuggled together) All in all - I would highly recommend this product - I would give 6 stars if possible. ... show more
