We played this a few times but the spring got stuck resulting in the pirate not being able to pop! Talk about a buzzkill. A look on Google shows repairs like drilling a hole and removing the springs and replacing etc. However the easiest solution is to bang the bottom of the barrel onto the ground really hard. The spring will pop out and the toy will work again. Other than this quirk, it’s a great fun toy that will definitely make it into our game rotation. ... show more

We have the bluey one and it’s a bit finicky. Cute design. Fun for the kids (3.5 and 18mos) but ultimately, it is difficult to set bluey so she’ll pop. And if the kids accidentally knock the barrel over, sometimes it causes bluey to not pop. We have had many disappointing rounds in the game because it didn’t set up properly.
