It's fairly portable while going on fishing trips by collapsing the handle through a sleeve that locks it into place. It does come with a mounting clip to hang it on your bag, belt or the waist of your pants/shorts. The netting is rubberized coated to protect fish's scales during a catch and release. The handle has a decent grip to it being EVA foam. The thing about EVA foam is that you can't keep it under sunlight too long or else it will turn the surface of the grip a hint of powder. It does come with a lanyard with a carabiner at the end just to make sure you won't lose the net. The hinge part needs to be filed down. There are burrs to the inserted pin for the hinge and that has a potential to cut your line if you're not careful. Mine has a pin that jutted out about a 1/16" so I punched it in a bit deeper, filed the burrs down, and touched up painted the marks. See the images to know what I mean. I ordered the Tnqhuq Fishing Net for my teenage son who likes to kayak and fish. He related that he loves the compact size which fits well in his compact kayak storage and how easy it is to fold and extend while in his kayak. It seems well made and should last many years. Overall - nice folding net.

I was looking for a small, easy to carry net as I fish alot off the boat launches in a local harbor that feeds into the Pacific, and this net works great! This fishing net is sturdier than I expected! It fits a pretty large fish and I appreciate that its ability to fold isn't a detriment to its durability. My husband and I have already used this on quite a few fishing trips. Highly recommend!

Very compact but the net is ample enough to accommodate a decent sized fish. The netting is rubber coated which helps keep treble hooks from getting stuck. Stow this little gem in a compartment as a backup for your big net or just make it your go to. It will work great for pan fishing, bass fishing, and even eater walleyes but you won’t fit a 10 pound walleye in it or a big northern or musky. It’s actually a great little net!     • Very nice landing net
I have sworn off traditional landing nets in lieu of the rubberized so it doesn't hurt the fish. This is a great landing net and I recommend to anyone who is looking for one.
