Description

The difference between Monofilament Lines Nets and Tire Lines Nets: Monofilament Lines (3/8 Inch Mesh): The use of a thin monofilament thread can make smaller meshes and catch small fishing baits. Tire Lines (1/2 Inch Mesh): With special treatment, the tire line is thicker, so it is impossible to make too small mesh. But it enhances toughness and does not easily tear, making it the best choice for beginners, and fishermen who like durable fishing nets. ►Use pure lead sinkers so they do not rust. Reduce the Water flower and quickly into the water. Prevent bait escape, catch more baits. ►Better weight, making the cast net sink quickly, catch more baits. ►It is packed in a tote bag for easy carrying and storage ►43-ft long floating braided poly hand line for easy to throw into deeper or farther waters. ►Cast Net Repair Tools, repair fishing nets anytime, anywhere to increase fishing net life and reduce bait escape ►Whether you are novice or seasoned veteran, this premium easy-to- use cast net practically opens itself on every throw, so even new anglers can cast nets like a pro. ►Better design and affordable price makes this fishing net is an awesome gift for experienced and beginner. • One if the best nets I've owned.
Size: 5FT (150cm) Radius Style: Lead Sinkers-1/2mesh-tire Lines
Since I was about 17 years old I have purchased many different cast nets all around 4 ft radius. Some from Walmart, bass pro shops, and even a couple from cabelas. I have ruined every cast net that I have purchased except this one. I have a bucket with at least six of these nets and countless I've lost. They will last about one fishing trip depending on the area you're throwing yet I've had this one two years and it still works just the same as the first day I used it. Even with the self repairs I've done with the included line. I highly recommend not wasting your money on other nets and purchasing this one to save yourself time and money. ... show more

  • Easy to use & comes with repair needle & thread.
Size: 5FT (150cm) Radius Style: Lead Sinkers-1/2mesh-tire Lines
Heads up, this net throws pretty good but I suggest placing it into a 5 gallon bucket to soak with a mild soap, then rinse good & hang it up to dry in direct hot sunlight because it's a stuck together mess right out of the bag as shipped. The rope is good quality but will be a mess too. Stretch that rope out with the weight of the net hanging on it to remove the tangled memory so it can be used without giving you future headaches. Having the repair needle & thread is a nice add to the deal. The woven specially treated tire lines material seems to throw & spread out better than nylon or mono nets. The 1/2" mesh is a little to large for real small minnow type bait fish, anything under 3" long will likely slip thru & escape, otherwise great overall size & it sinks well. Only time will tell how it holds up in normal conditions but that's with anything nowadays, if you frequent areas with heavily shelled or sharp rocky bottoms like some do & then complain about their nets tearing apart, be prepare to keep buying replacement nets ! Tight Lines :) ... show more

  • Great quality but...
The quality is great but the weights are so small that the net does not sink fast enough.

  • Good throw
Size: 5FT (150cm) Radius Style: Lead Sinkers-3/8mesh-0.3mm Monofilament
I haven't used this. Bought it for my 12 yo based on a recommendation from a friend. My son loves it and if my small boy can throw this net and get a bunch of greenbacks for bait, I'm happy. He loves it.

  • It works
Size: 10FT (300cm) Radius Style: Lead Sinkers-3/8mesh-0.3mm Monofilament
Bought 10ft radius, true 20ft open. Netting is not very durable -Packaged in nice square bucket with lid, but handle won't attach unless drill holes bigger. -Net is packed in a way it can't be used directly from bucket, stiff and wadded up. -Soaked in 5gal bucket with fabric softener for 2 days. Hung in shop for a day to dry and straighten out. -Net is fairly lightweight for it's size but good for repeat throws and throws further than expected. Don't know about sink rate yet. -Practiced in my grass lawn for about 15 minutes and a fairly large tear appeared. Sewn it up...sucks every time. I'll update after casting for bait out on boat. ... show more

  • BEST CAST NET EVER!!!!!
Size: 7FT (210cm) Radius Style: Pvc-3/8mesh-tire Lines
This net is amazing. I have tried several different nets while catching my own bait for years and this one hands down is the best one ever. Its Hand made with excellent quality string and the weights hit the ground so fast fish can't escape. All you got to do is put it on the fish and you got then no more watching them scatter while ur net takes its time to sink. It even comes with extra string and a little tool incase it needs repairs. Also has its own carry bag to keep it untangle and undamaged when not using it. My1st day using it I filled my 5gal bucket in just 3 tosses. Needless to say all my fishing buddies and myself was in shock how well it worked. Now all my coworkers/fishing buddies are all jealous and want one too as well. So do not hesitate or let this net pass you by. I promise you will steal the show when you pull in more fish than everone else haha. So just take my word get it. You can thank me later :) ... show more

  • Quality Control Suspect
Size: 6FT (180cm) Radius Style: Pvc-3/8mesh-0.3mm Monofilament
The river I fish has an annual gizzard shad run. It lasts only a week before they move on. They stack up at the edge of the dam giving us the rare opportunity to net primo catfish bait from the bank. Those of us that bank and kayak fish try to load up on shad to freeze for late Spring, Summer, and Fall. On the first day of the run I destroyed my other net almost beyond repair on a submerged branch. With only 5 or 6 days left for this year's run, I ordered this inexpensive net with the hopes it would arrive quickly (it did) and could soak it and then put it to use, losing only one day of the run. I was very disappointed that rght out of the box the rope was fraying 12" from the wrist strap. Very few strands were still intact. With the depth and current I would be throwing it there's no way it would last for a single cast let alone if it were loaded down with fish. Additionally, the main rope is very thin, perhaps 1/4" to 3/8" thick. This would be difficult to grip, cut into my hands thus requiring me to wear gloves since I make dozens of casts each day, and make closing it difficult so much of my catch would escape. The wrist strap was also poorly attached/sewn to the rope. I can see now why others lost their nets after only a few casts (someone else said it broke off on the first cast). I didn't give the net ( 6' monofilament) a complete inspection, but I could see that many of the braille lines were not cut close to the lead line, which would cause it to likely snag easily. Of the 5 lines I inspected, 3 of the knots were not pulled tightly. The quality control on this particular net I received was nonexistent. Regretfully itvs gone back in the box to return. The repair tool and line was not included as advertised. Not that this is a big deal just another reason to suspect the quality Control of the manufacturer. With all considered, I won't be exchanging this for another. Instead I'm returning the cast net and have already ordered another brand. I'm peeved that by the time this other cast net arrives and I soak/prepare that net for use, the 2022 shad run will be over. It seems that one out of four items my family have purchased in the last couple of years has required a return. We enjoy the ease and convenience but with what we pay for a Prime membership now, after yet another price increase, I think Amazon should put more effort into assuring that the products advertised and delivered (so quickly) are of better quality and arrive as described. ... show more
