I bought these for panfishing from a boat. I haven't used them on the water yet but they feel nice and sturdy, they fold up for easy stowage and come with a decent bag to keep them in. Would I use them on a 50lb catfish? No, but that ain't why I got 'em.

I ha e been using mine for a year now and it is still good as new. My only complaint is the belt clip isnt reliable. The net will shift and open while walking. If it comes in contact with brush or even water if you are wading then it will come off. I have had to circle back a few times because I didn't notice it fall. I got this for my Quest Angler 10 plastic pontoon boat because it folds up and is small. Its the perfect size for the boat. Tucks away until you need it. I dont catch alot of big fish, maybe 3 pounders at the biggest and it works great. Dont know how it would do above that but it feels pretty sturdy. I have no complaints with it. ... show more

This does not take up much room in my kayak. It's easy to use and handle in a sit-inside kayak. Haven't used it to catch fish yet. Caught a few run away/ lost bobbers, lost items floating in lake after the weekend ..LOL Wanted to try it out in the kayak paddling around lake before trying it on fish.
