Seems a very good casting net, our grandson was working hard to master. Pleased with its workings, however we’re misled by a review that stated the dimensions were mixed up, radius vs diameter so because of that comment we ordered too big. Dimensions are listed correctly!

I'm still trying to avoid the banana-shaped casts myself, but it isn't the net's fault! I'd say if you are learning to cast or just want a simple, easy cast net, this should suit you just fine. I've caught baitfish and the occasional bluegill when casting in the lake.

Fresh out the case the cast net feels like good quality, I used it the very next day after receiving it. I noticed the weights would always tangle, overlap the netting, or feed through the guide circle. In my 5 hours of using this cast net I'd say it only properly opened 6 times. I was still able to retrieve fish with it but only do to the fact the net size was accurate. Just disappointed that this net preformed worse then the Walmart cast net I replaced with purchasing this net. ... show more
