These are definitely sturdy…they’re pretty heavy and require proper mounting but the velvet is very soft which makes it visually soft enough for a nursery or girls room. Really happy with the quality for sure

I wouldn't call it a blackout but my wife is obsessed with white curtains. So it's perfect for our patio where we want some sunlight to come in but not a lot. The velvet feels like pure heaven.
