I took me a long time to find the right window treatments. I didn't want to over spend because i usually change my window treatments out at least twice a year. These were so soft and luxurious looking. Not 100% blackout but I was not going for the cave look either. I purchased the taupe.

These are exactly as described. I purchased the 120 x 52 in. panels. I had to lower a couple inches from the ceiling for the curtain rods install, so I have a slight break at the bottom to sweep the floor, which is exactly as I like them. I purchased 5 packages for a total of 10 panels to get the fullness I wanted to achieve around my bay windows. The panels achieve a nice blackout effect, but my blinds, the dark gray color and the number of panels help diffuse light as well. I don't think 100% blackout should be expected because these panels do not have an added opaque inside layer to block out all light, but I think they block a significant amount of light alone. There are creases that may need to be steamed out, especially at the folded areas, but the velvet texture helps mask them somewhat. The velvet is soft and the material did not have any thin, see-through patches like some cheap velvet tends to have. I can not attest whether the seams were perfectly straight, since the panels purchased are so long and they sweep the floor, but the seems were all well stitched with no frays. Overall, I'm extremely pleased, because I like to have quality without spending a fortune for it. ... show more

These curtains are really high quality. They are thick and block out all light. They are just more of an orange/brown than I thought. They don't look as orange as the photo shows. But since they are so nice, I decided to keep them and let it go that they don't fully match..
