Was looking for a rocking camp chair for myself (5’5”) and my 6’3” husband. Very happy with this rocker— super easy to set up, great range of motion, and it’s very comfortable for both of us. We like the tall back, and the overall build quality is really solid. We tried out a couple other highly-rated rockers for comparison, but they were either strangely awkward to set up, or just plain uncomfortable to sit in. (Specifically, the GCI Outdoor Rocker Camping Chair was a surprising disappointment, since it was so highly rated, but it had such a small range of motion based on the unique piston design that I had to return it. The EVER ADVANCED Oversized Folding Rocking Camping Chair was also a disappointment; all that padding looked great, but the front seat edge was uncomfortably tight against the underside of our legs, and my husband especially just didn’t fit well in it.) ... show more

This chair is burly! It folds flat so storage isn't an issue when car camping, but it's the heaviest camp chair I've owned and will hold up for a long time. Very comfy, love that it's a rocker. I ended up returning this but only for one reason- being a challenge to pack in the car. This was the MOST comfortable rocker I purchased with a nice high back and solid construction. The challenge is the form factor when folded, flat and long. I ended up going for a similar rocker style but a more compact design for easier packing and taking to music venues. If you are using something for home or that won’t be moved often- this is the one to get. I didn’t want to knock any stars off for a great product that simply didn’t meet my needs for something I kind of knew going in.
