This is a combo. Both shampoo and conditioner have the purple ingredient to take away any brassiness. Less is more and the longer its on the hair the darker the tone will be. It's not overly expensive and it's a great product.

Does NOT dry out hair or make it straw-ish like other brands such as L’ange. Both the shampoo and conditioner are “purple” to tone out any brassiness. I went from sandy blonde to platinum. The brassiness is non-existent! I only wish I would have taken a before photo! Comparable to Biolage purple toning shampoo… only better! Leaves hair soft and smelling great! ... show more

I have used this shampoo for a long time. I ordered 2 bottles. This time both bottles did not lather at all!! Not one bubble! By the time I opened them my return window was closed.

I like what it does to the tone of my blonde but I don’t like the smell and it irritates my scalp. I have never had any shampoo that bothered my scalp before.
