They are strong and sturdy with a great sharp tip for weeding. They do require 2 AAA batteries to work but these are really good! I love them and would buy again. I highly recommend these weeding tools!

I'm returning these today. There aren't the worst I've ever used but they're not great at all. The distance between the light and the tip is far too long which creates two problems. The light isn't able to hit the vinyl enough to illuminate it enough, you have to hold it at an angle for it to even help a small amount. Which isn't helpful. And you don't have as much control since the tip is double the length as other ones. The tips aren't even as sharp as you would expect, they're very fat. The tips don't screw into the base very easily as well as the battery door seemed like it wouldn't hold up to too many changing of batteries. ... show more

The ends are too long and flimsy to weed well. The light is not bright and doesn’t direct downwards therefore it’s not showing you what you’re looking at. It just lights up that little tiny area. These are very easy to use. When I got them they worked like a charm. After a few uses, it seems the batteries get knocked out of place and the light starts to flicker.

The media could not be loaded. I like that the hook is so sturdy. I used it straight out of the box and it gets the job done! I like that the heads can screw in and out of the pen so i wonder if you can get head replacements from this same company. The product didnt come with any type of instructions or labels so i was a little disappointed when i discovered that i needed to supply the batteries. Luckily i had some on hand. It takes two AAA batteries. But honestly it was probably in the listing i kinda skimmed through it. Overall its definitely good value for the money spent.
