I'm returning these today. There aren't the worst I've ever used but they're not great at all. The distance between the light and the tip is far too long which creates two problems. The light isn't able to hit the vinyl enough to illuminate it enough, you have to hold it at an angle for it to even help a small amount. Which isn't helpful. And you don't have as much control since the tip is double the length as other ones. The tips aren't even as sharp as you would expect, they're very fat. The tips don't screw into the base very easily as well as the battery door seemed like it wouldn't hold up to too many changing of batteries. ... show more

These are perfect for weeding my vinyl designs. The light is wonderful and makes sure that you can see better what you are doing. Would definitely recommend that if you work with vinyl designs and need a weeding tool, you get a set of these.

These are extremely cheaply made. Don't expect these to last more than a few days of use. The threads on the straight pick were damaged and I could not get ot to screw together. The light is of little use. The bent pick is the only redeeming item. It is a super fine point and works good on tbe smaller items. The ends are too long and flimsy to weed well. The light is not bright and doesn’t direct downwards therefore it’s not showing you what you’re looking at. It just lights up that little tiny area. The media could not be loaded. I like that the hook is so sturdy. I used it straight out of the box and it gets the job done! I like that the heads can screw in and out of the pen so i wonder if you can get head replacements from this same company. The product didnt come with any type of instructions or labels so i was a little disappointed when i discovered that i needed to supply the batteries. Luckily i had some on hand. It takes two AAA batteries. But honestly it was probably in the listing i kinda skimmed through it. Overall its definitely good value for the money spent. Having had a sign company for over 25 years, I can easily say that I have weeded literally miles worth of vinyl. I really wish that I would have known these existed, if they even did all those years. This is some serious good clock for the buck. They take two AAA batteries. And I always recommend people to invest in rechargeable batteries.
