OK. I have been on a LOT of treadmills. I want to give you the pros and (limited) cons of this. But, hear me out. When I make a rating on a review, I'm not comparing apples to oranges. Meaning, I won't give a Kia 3 stars because I've been in a Ferrari. You have to consider what you're getting, the price you're paying for it, and the overall value. First off, this is very easy to put together. It takes some time only because screwing things in takes time. But, that said, the parts are packaged in a tight pack and you know you have exactly what you need in there. The directions are very clear on how to put this together. And.. it all works. The holes are aligned where they need to be, and all tools you need are included. So let's talk about the treadmill itself. If anyone tells you this is hard and feels like you're walking or jogging on asphalt... they're wrong. I run on asphalt 4x a week. This has shock absorption for sure. Maybe not the amount you get on an expensive gym treadmill... but remember.... Ferrari vs Kia (and Kias can be REALLY good). The controls are intuitive and clear. The fact that you have quick starts for various inclines and speeds are awesome. The ease of how this folds up and sets up for your use... unbelievably easy. A concern I had was whether this was too short on the handles to be of use. They are easy to grab on to if needed. And, the reality... is that you aren't going to grab them while you jog the whole time. They're there if you need in an emergency (think about it.. you don't jog with side bars). The only cons I have experienced so far is that the length of the belt is not that long. BUT... that is by design. This is supposed to be compact. I never felt like I was in danger of running out of room at all. Just stay moving up front. The width was MUCH easier to stay in line with than I thought it would be. Everything is bright. It was all clear. The safety has to be magnetically attached for it to start. But you don't NEED to attach/use it. All in all, I'm pretty AMAZED you can get this treadmill for the cost. 20 years ago, this would have approached 1K. Certainly, technology keeps getting better... but even if this lasts a year, you've more than covered what you REALLY use a gym membership for, right? This is like a 5-star, non-Ferrari vehicle. I'm still in shock over the quality and value you get for the price/cost. ... show more

My husband and I just put it together and we have used it twice in two days. It is just what we needed to keep active this winter. No more going to an overcrowded gym to use treadmills! He would have liked a spot for his water bottle but that's about the only disappointment.

I was very upset during my first review, which I didn't see posted. I accidentally purchased a second after trying to cancel the first order that was not approved by Amex. I was referred to UPS, and UPS referred me back to Amazon. I spoke with an Amazon manager, and he resolved the problem. I got the treadmill at no cost as an early birthday present due to the disinformation I received. On a good note, I love this treadmill. I downsized to a condo and my space was limited. I researched for months looking for the perfect treadmill. I even looked at a couple of used treadmills but decided that was not the way to go for me. It was delivered my son stopped by and put it together before I got home from work. I went through much stress purchasing this treadmill because my source of payment was denied they went for the funds out of my checking account even for the second treadmill purchased in error trying to cancel the first after paying down the original credit card because I wanted to use the $175 rewards towards the purchase. After all that, I am extremely happy with my free treadmill not just because I ended up getting it free but because it is everything I wanted in a treadmill 12% auto incline, lots of programs, compact, no noise, and comes with some preset settings for a quick start to your workout!! ... show more

Doctor informed me that I needed to walk more, so I began searching for a treadmill. This treadmill is of great quality, easy to put together, is priced nicely and makes getting exercise so easy! Many programs and modes to choose from. Choose a timed or built-in session, or set up a personalized program. The incline and speed controls are easy to reach, while maintaining a hold on the pulse sensors. Treadmill runs smooth and decently quiet considering it's a conveyor belt machine. The display is bright and colorful and very easy to read. You can't go wrong with this treadmill, so why are you still here reading this? Make the purchase!
