  • Awesome treadmill! BUY THIS ONE!
I did a lot of research before making my purchase. This was what was important to me: - quiet - 5 mph or faster - slim enough to be stored upright behind a door -compact enough to use under my desk - wider walking pad - foldable stability handle with electronic display holder tray -emergency stop cord -can be used on carpet -wheels for easy mobility -small enough to save space -sturdiness -performance -display controls and remote controls - 265 lb max weight - fully assembled right out of the box This checked ALL the boxes!! I used it as soon as it came in. I work from home, and placed it under my desk and walked on it as I worked. Before I knew it, I walked 2 miles. My 6', 240 lb husband ran on this treadmill and it was so sturdy and performed so well! It goes up to 7.6 mph! And when you push the stop button, it isn't a hard stop, but a gradual one. If you pull the emergency cord, it is a hard stop. The quality far exceeded my expectations! The only cons I saw was that it was a little heavier at almost 60 lbs when I saw most were under 50 lbs and that the stability bar does not lock when it's folded down. So when the treadmill is being stored upright, the pad part itself can move forward from the wall, away from the bar. We created a home made tie down strap, attaching it with a bungee cord hook to the metal bar underneath the pad so that it stays put against the wall behind the door, preventing any accidents from happening. There is a little slack so there isn't a lot of tension on that bar (and could possibly damage or bend it) which is what we wanted. It works well. Just have to also remember that when you're moving the treadmill, to hold the walking pad part and not just the stability bar. Bought the Amazon 2 year protection plan for $26.99 but learned that it comes with a one year manufacturer warranty, which was a nice surprise, as it wasn't listed. You will not regret this purchase!! ... show more

  • Quiet; LOVE IT!!! 265 Lb weight limit!!
I LOVE THIS TREADMILL!!! I am super happy with this treadmill! So far, I’ve used it a few times while attending multi-hour zoom trainings and working from home. I used it for most of the day. It worked perfectly. A little bit of squeaking at first, but that went away after several minutes. I did have to stop walking a few times so I could focus on writing by hand or doing something else a bit complex with my hands, but that was only for a few minutes, then I turned it back on. ***I asked, and multiple people said they couldn’t hear it in the zoom. *** People were impressed with me for using this. That was kind of cool. I can feel the effects of the exercise in my legs. My muscles feel it, and that’s great! My feet feel it too, but oh well! I didn’t walk very fast, and a few times, my Apple Watch asked me if I wanted to mark my workout as ended or paused, even though I was still walking. I don’t think my watch or phone recorded the number of steps I took, the distance I walked, or other data correctly. Is that because I had my phone and my arms resting on my desk while I was walking? It doesn’t really matter. What matters is that instead of sitting all day, I walked all day! I have been sedentary for most of the last 35 years. I’m hoping this will help to end that! I used the remote control and I had the handle down so it would go under my convertible desk. For my treadmill, you have to press the remote control twice to make it turn on. That’s fine. It would be really nice if it had an app to go work out to keep track of speeds and distances walked since the treadmill itself has no memory. I will be looking for that in any treadmill I buy in the first since the phone and watch don’t detect my workout on it. The rate of acceleration and deceleration is perfect on this machine: no sudden stopping. That is something I had been worried about, as my balance isn’t the best. It is too heavy for me to be wheeling it around across the living room carpet every day, so I tend to leave it in place. I can move it, but it is pretty heavy for me. So, I really don’t like to. I’m always afraid I’m going to strain a muscle when I move it. I’m sure it would be much easier if it were on tile instead of carpet. I’ve learned that if I use it for hours at a time, I need to stretch my legs before and after using the treadmill in order to avoid hip pain. I’m going to buy one for work as soon as they assemble my standing/convertible desk! I don’t have much room in my office at work, so if I ever want to use my chair, I’d have to move the treadmill. Not sure where I’m going to store the treadmill when I want to use a chair at my desk in my little office at work. 😥 For me, this treadmill is a KEEPER due to the PRICE and FUNCTIONALITY after I got it into place. I am not going to try to put it under the couch. I don’t think that’s possible unless you can lift 72 pounds and push that sideways since the wheels don’t swivel. I’m an over-50-yo woman, so I’m not super strong. As other reviewers have stated, when the handle is folded down, it doesn’t lock into place. That is a very bad design! The handle forms a U all the way around the sides and back of the treadmill, so the handle is in the way when you try to pick the treadmill up to move it. This makes you reach further underneath the treadmill, thus straining your muscles. There are two little tabs on the sides near the back of the machine. I don’t know what they are for, but I put my hands under those to move the treadmill. They seem to go under the handle to the bottom of the machine, although they rotate, so you need to be mindful of them. Yes, the wheels do roll well, even on carpet, but only straight forward and backward, which I had not realized might be a problem. This thing is very heavy for me, and the wheels don’t turn. That means I have to work it back and forth little by little to turn it around, and it’s way too heavy for all that! I will be leaving mine out in plain sight because it’s too unwieldy to move easily. ☹️ The “locks” don’t work as they should. They should keep the handle in place when it’s down, but they don’t. In fact, just from moving mine around a little bit, one of the locks came down. I don’t think that caused a bigger problem than they already created by this terrible design, but it’s just weird. I do not recommend this treadmill based on the weird locks and the handle that’s in the way, but on the other hand, it is one of the less expensive ones with good reviews and a 265 pound weight limit, which I need since I’m a big person. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to figure out a way to move it around my small apartment’s living room eventually. It’s probably a lot easier to move on smooth flooring instead of carpet. I will be getting a mat to put between the treadmill and my carpet since another reviewer pointed out that the fans vent to the bottom, and I confirmed that for myself by looking. Sorry, no picture of the fans. Regarding it not turning on, this was my experience: When it was delivered, there was a big hole ripped in the cardboard container (3”x5”). However, the hole was not near either end, so I figured it hadn’t damaged the motor. I thought it may have caused some cosmetic damage, but it is too heavy to worry about a little scratch if it works otherwise. Granted, my place doesn’t have a ton of light, but I haven’t seen any scratches or other damage yet and this might not have been the shipper’s fault anyway. The package could have gotten damaged by an employee in the mailbox store moving it around. I wouldn’t have been able to bring this home from the mailbox store by myself. (Thank you, Honey!!) If it had been delivered to my doorstep, and there were no stairs, I might’ve been able to drag it inside, but probably not very far. It’s very heavy at 72 pound item weight plus the weight of the packing material. Once my wonderful man put it in my apartment in the room I requested, I was able to remove it from the box and wheel it around within that room to where I want it. (About ten feet of movement). It was less heavy feeling than I thought 72 pounds would feel like on carpet. I removed all the packing materials, raised the handles, locked them in place, inserted the magnetic safety clip, plugged it in, turned on the power switch on the bottom front right, removed the tape from the remote battery, and pressed the remote power button, but it wouldn’t turn on! I tried what I thought was everything twice, but as it was late, I just went to bed and decided to call Amazon for product support the next day. The next day came, and while I was on hold for a human at Amazon, I decided to check all my connections once more. Well, I found the problem! I hadn’t pushed the two parts of the power plug together far enough! I’ve included a picture of that in my review. It seems like a very basic and silly little thing, but if I hadn’t thought of that, just imagine how much time I could’ve spent with a product support person until they might’ve thought to ask me that simple question: are all your connections plugged in well enough? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So, I’m a bit embarrassed about that, but I’m still writing it because so many other reviewers have said they also had a hard time getting this treadmill to turn on. So now, this is one more thing for you to check before you call Amazon. It doesn’t matter to me, but there is a time limit stated in the manual: “The treadmill will automatically stop after it continuously runs for 99 minutes.” However, I’m not sure that actually happens. As I stated earlier in my review, I have used this a few times for several hours at a time. I have never kept track of how long I was on it without a break. But it never stopped on me without me stopping it myself. I strained my neck/trap muscle a bit from having to wiggle it back and forth a bunch of times instead of a simple maneuver that could’ve been accomplished if the wheels were 360-degree swivelers. I know that would be more expensive, but I can’t imagine it would add more than $25-$50 to the price. It would be worth it to me! I bought this one because it said that it was sold and fulfilled by Amazon (I have Prime), and reviewers of other treadmills have said that makes a difference in return shipping cost if you have to return something this heavy. Other people have reported that they have had to pay to ship their other treadmills back to the (3rd party?) sellers. That is one of the big reasons I chose this one. I am not sure if it includes free returns, but I figured that, since it is sold by Amazon, that’s a lot more likely. Plus, there is an Amazon warehouse in my city. Who knows… If I had to return it, maybe I could even drop it off there and avoid shipping charges altogether. I am going to look for a comparable one with 360-degree swivel wheels and an app to see how much more that costs and buy that one for work. There is no way that I could maneuver this thing to go underneath a low couch since it only has wheels on the front and they don’t swivel. I feel that is TOTALLY FALSE ADVERTISING: I do not believe that a woman could maneuver this treadmill to go underneath a 2-seater couch that has only 4 inches of clearance space underneath. Could somebody please prove me wrong and post such a video? I would really need a set of swiveling wheels on both the front and the back of the treadmill to get it under the couch. However, I think I’m going to keep it because it’s relatively inexpensive and it works great. I got it to use in the morning before work. I used it just for a few minutes while my coffee brewed, and after about only two minutes on a low speed, I could feel my energy surge a little bit! That is exactly the reason I got it: I want to increase my energy level. Now, I just have to get up early enough to use it every day! I really like that when it stops, it does so gradually, not suddenly. Bottom line: I recommend it if you are on a budget. If You can afford it, I recommend getting one with 360-degree swiveling wheels on all four corners of the machine plus an app. If you were going to use this, while you work, your phone will probably be on the desk, and your watch will be on your wrist, which will be relatively stationary on top of the desk as well, and your devices will not detect your workout. Thus, the need for an app that integrates with the native health apps of the various smart phones. I didn’t include pictures or videos of the machine here because plenty of other reviewers have already done so. Mine wouldn’t be adding any new information. It does annoy me that there is no place on the machine that I’m aware of to store the magnetic clip. You’re supposed to remove the magnetic clip when you have the handle down so the string does not get caught in the belt/walking surface. There should be a place on the front of the machine for that safety clip, similar to the place they have for the remote. But for the price, it’s a minor inconvenience to have to keep track of the clip separately. It now lives on my fridge since it’s magnetic. Bottom line: this machine is great! If you are on a budget, and especially if you weigh over 220 pounds but less than 265 pounds, this could be the machine for you! ... show more
