  • Disney lover
I didn’t know what to expect. But when I opened it the book was a little smaller than I thought but it is so beautifully put together already tried the pumpkin fudge and looking at several more. We are huge Disney fans and absolutely love their food so this was a great purchase for us. Absolutely beautiful pictures and the book was easy to use as it is divided by all the different parks ... show more

  • Fun Cookbook!
If you're a Disney fan and enjoy all of the foods they serve in the parks during the holidays--have I got a book for you! Ashley Craft is a master at re-creating all of your Disney Parks holiday treats! The book covers the following Disney Parks: Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney Hollywood Studios, Disney Animal Kingdom, Disney California Adventure, Disney Springs/Downtown Disney, and Disney Resort Hotels. Then within each park, she highlights holidays and special events that feature unique food offerings: Valentine's Day, Black History Month, St. Patrick's Day, May the Fourth, Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah, Fourth of July, Pride Month, Lunar New Year, Easter, Thanksgiving and Mardi Gras. The book is heavily focused on sweets, drinks, and snacks because isn't that what we all want for various holiday treats? However, there are quite a few savory offerings, and no matter which holidays you celebrate, there is a a delightful recipe for you to prepare and enjoy at home. From Mickey Shamrock Milk Shakes to Smoked Salmon Potato Latkes to Heart Shaped Butter Cookies and Mickey Gingerbread, you don't even have to travel to experience your favorite Disney Parks holiday foods. I personally find these recipes fairly simple, but not basic. I love the garnishing and how cute they are, Craft really spent time to replicate what the actual products look like and taste like. This Holidays cookbook joins Craft's other Unofficial Disney Parks cookbooks: The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook: From Delicious Dole Whip to Tasty Mickey Pretzels, 100 Magical Disney-Inspired Recipes, The Unofficial Disney Parks EPCOT Cookbook: From School Bread in Norway to Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches in France, 100 EPCOT-Inspired Recipes for ... the World, The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book: From LeFou's Brew to the Jedi Mind Trick, 100+ Magical Disney-Inspired Drinks, The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook: From Cafe Orleans's Battered & Fried Monte Cristo to Hollywood & Vine's Caramel Monkey Bread, 100 Magical ..., plus she also has one for Universal Studios. If you have a favorite recipe from Disney Parks, you will surely find it in one of Ashley Craft's cookbooks. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book, all opinions are my own ... show more

  • Disappointing
This cookbook is pretty. It looks to have some good recipes. But the author decided to add recipes for "pride day". I don't want to celebrate something that is not a holiday and glorifies a sinful lifestyle. This is supposed to be a book about holidays, not made up holidays.

  • It’s alright
Not the biggest fan of the layout. So, it’s broken up into parks; each park then has holidays in calendar order (I do like that they are listed in calendar order). I think it would have been easier for people if it was broken down by Holidays, and then just listing the park under each recipe. Recipes look pretty good, and stick with the theme for whatever holiday they represent. There are 4 recipes for Pride Month (a pro for some people, con for others. Just figured I’d mention that). A TON of Halloween and Christmas recipes! Even some fun twists on recipes that I plan on trying! One of the twists was the Binx Tails which are a twist on the Cheshire Cat tails from the original Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook! ... show more
