I have made several travel mugs with this resin and it works really well. It goes on nicely and levels well in a cup turner. The end result is a nice clear finish. I haven't had them for long enough to speak to longevity but so far I am well pleased with the results. The only issues I have had with the resin is that the bottle of resin leaked in the bag a bit and the bottle was coated and sticky when I got it. I had to clean the bottle which was annoying.     • Best resin for tumblers
Used this on a tumbler and it worked amazing. It is thicker than craft resin so it stays on the tumbler better and levels out more evenly. I mixed it too fast and didn't use a heat gun but the bubbles were tiny. I did not detect a smell at all. For the small amount I use per tumbler this a good value for the money. The media could not be loaded. This is the best shiny epoxy I have used but it does turn yellow I’ve had it for a month and it is starting to turn yellow . But just add a few drops of blue alcohol ink and works like a charm . I wish they sold a fast set

    • Great Resin for Intermediate to Experienced Users
This resin is not for beginners, although with some trial and error it can be beginner friendly. This is a fast set resin. It has a clear glossy finish, no bubbles, and partially cures in 4-6 hours (depending on your environment). A little goes a long way and when cured it is light weight. Some resin is heavy and after 3 coats your tumbler will be heavy. This is not so with this one. I will say it did get hot on me one time due to the temp in my room above 80 degrees. In my experience with resin, fast cure resin does not like hot rooms. I also used for key chains and glass projects, and it did well. Here are some tips based on my experience with this resin: Do not use if you need more than 20-30 minutes work time. Do not mix more than one batch at a time. Mix prior to each project. Keep room between 74 - 78 degrees. Do not use a lot of acrylic paint when coloring, resin will be flexible. Always remember, fast cure still needs 24-48 hours to cure despite what the manufacturer says. Allowing time to fully cure make your projects scratch free. ... show more

    • Works well, but does yellow over time
This epoxy is very reasonable. I never have any problems with it, but if I am making WHITE tumblers, I would not use this as it does yellow over time (about 5 months it seems).

    • Kind of disappointed
Kind of upset that my part B is already very yellow and I just bought this epoxy about two months ago. It turned yellow less than a month after purchase! I use to make tumblers and I'm very concerned about my tumblers looking yellow. Guess I'll have to look for another brand. Very disappointed.

There is nothing to dislike about this epoxy it is wonderful the first coat looks like glass after it cured. I have tried a couple of different epoxies and this one came recommended from a show that I watch. I purchased a gallon because you cannot beat the price and I'm very happy that I did. I do Tumbler cups and the cup I posted still needs two more coats I'm sure the second and third coat will go on just as flawlessly as the first coat as I add more glitter to hide the wires on my cup. It has a very low odor and next to no bubbles and if I get a couple of bubbles I just use a squirt of 91% alcohol as I'm not a big fan of torching my resin. I don't usually bother to leave long reviews or even post pics but I had to because this epoxy is a really nice epoxy. ... show more
