Nice markers. These acrylic markers are the perfect size for mixed media projects. They write on glass and other surfaces also but I tested them out on Canson mixed media paper and both the black and white performed well. The white showed a slight bit of the color from the page underneath but not enough to be distracting. That was the only reason for the 4 stars. If you use it for dots the coverage is total. You could also draw a second line if it really bothers you but I kind of like that it's not completely opaque and I tested it on top of a really dark color. The size of the line is perfect too- not narrow but not so big that it bleeds or overtakes the page. I would get them again and I like that you can get just the black OR white in the package if you use a lot of one color or one of each if you want that instead. ... show more

The 2-pack was nicely packaged. A value feature was that the entire pen is sealed, so you know you're getting a new product. After unsealing the pen and taking off the tip, you'll notice that the chip is opaque in color, another indicator of it not being used. To use: 1. Take off the sealed wrapping. 2. shake the pen very well then 3. push down the tip a few times until you see the color bleed onto the tip 4. shake again until you see the opaque tip turn whatever pen color you have chosen. (Silver in my instance) 5. Then write away I tested this on a very thin brown wrapping paper, and happy to report there was no leaking through the paper. I can see the silver paint clearly on the brown cray paper, and the paint pen wrote smoothly too. (Check out the attached pictures for verification) Since it writes this smoothly on this thin cray paper and didn't bleed through the paper, and it dries quickly too, then it know it will be great writing on thicker surfaces. The water based acrylic paint marker writes well and smoothly and highly recommend giving this product a try yourself. ... show more

Paint markers always take some time to start at first use, but the instructions printed right on these pens are super helpful. The marks are opaque with good coverage, and they dry plenty quick enough for me (within a few seconds). Each pen comes individually shrinkwrapped to prevent drying out before first use. With the cap on, each pen is just over 5½" long and about 9/16" in diameter. The paint marks are about 1/16" wide. The clear body makes it easy to see how much paint is left. Very nice. Took only a few seconds to get the paint flowing. Once it did, it applied easily. I got this for a couple of reasons. The main ones are to paint my sockets so I can easily read the sizes. The other is to mark different cords, plugs, chargers, etc. so I know what goes with what. I marked a few yesterday, and they came out well. At first, I thought the paint flowed too thick, but since it dried fast, that's okay with me. The picture shows the two markers and the box they came in. Good addition to my tool room. ... show more

This set of two acrylic paint pens are okay but not as nice as some of the others I have. One major flaw is how long they take to dry after writing with them. If you're not careful to let them dry for a while they will smear.

Gold acrylic paint pen. Ink flows nicely without excess flow (blobs). Gold is slightly reflective, a nice contrast to solid backgrounds. Gold color is similar to other brands of markerrs such as POSCA. Works on paper, metal, plastic, cloth, and other surfaces as described. Permanent when dry. Good for marking and art projects. The marker line is about 2-3 mm wide. I have an extra one I keep with the toolbox.
