I've been using a kydex holster in waistband and it was just uncomfortable and the butt of my pistol poked out to much. This holster is comfortable against my skin when in waistband and fits down far enough and stays tight against me so the butt of the gun doesn't tip outward. The strap that snaps into place is tight and holds the pistol in tight. The clip is tight on my waistband or belt, I have no worries it's going to slip off our anything. This holster is made of quality materials and can be used for either right or left and used as IWB or OWB. Currently I am using it for a Taurus GX4 as an IWB and it works perfectly for that. It is comfortable with easy access to the pistol. It comes with belt clip that is removable to be placed on either side of the holster. It is made of a nylon weave with a softer padded inside to protect the gun. The barrel end is open to allow for the gun to fit completely in the holster. It is a nice holster and very versatile. Universal IWB/OWB Gun Holster . The best holster is one made specifically for a given handgun. However sometimes an adequate holster will do just fine, and that is where generic holsters like this one work great. It comes with parts to wear left or right, IWB or OWB. I find it fits and functions well for my little Davis .32 ACP pistol, it was necessary to cut the thread stitching to size it a little larger, and re-sew the thread in a new position. Now fits great! The holster comes with 2 straps, and a clip. You can wear it either on the left or right side for concealment. I use a subcompact 380 in it, and it holds it very well. There is an option from the description page that you can cut a seam on the holster to make it hold a larger one. But it came with no instructions, but it seems self explanatory. The holster and belt/waistband clip are top notch. Tried it on a compact and subcompact and good fit for both. Enough friction to feel secure. I’m not a fan of the elastic band, it does fine to secure the weapon but when you unsnap it, it’s rather floppy and unpredictable, could interfere with access if you need a quick draw. It is detachable though so you can replace it with a different style of strap if you need to. ... show more
