I have had difficulty with paint pens in the past, but the performance of these pens exceeded my expectations. Please note that you need to hold down the point for a minute or so so that the paint can properly fill the forward cavity and saturate the tip. We did a whole slew of rocks promoting Kamala Harris to leave around our little town... we got tremendous mileage out of these pens! ... show more

    • Paint pens work for Many projects
They came quickly. And I’ve used them on several different surfaces. Canvas, paper, cardboard, rocks, and wood. They were easy for my grandchildren to use on all their projects so far. The colors are great and have held up outside this summer. The negative, it took a ridiculous amount of time shaking each one to get them to work. I spent a couple hours shaking and starting them before the first time we tried to use. Even now after several uses they need shaking each time. These are great paint markers! The colors are vibrant, and there's a nice assortment in the box. I like that there are fine and wide tip markers in this set, and they are strong enough that I don't need to prime rocks for the colors to show up well. I'll buy these again in the future.

These are nice pens and have a good number of colors. One dried up very quickly, even though not used much. The small ones splatter a lot when used on canvas, even just to sign your name. Overall, not bad though.
