Frequently asked questions

Absolutely, these acrylic paint pens are incredibly versatile. Alongside canvas, they work beautifully on wood, stone, rocks, glass, and ceramic surfaces. They're ideal for a wide range of DIY crafts and art projects, providing rich, vibrant colors on many different textures and materials.

The drying time can vary depending on the surface and the environmental conditions, such as humidity and temperature. However, on average, the acrylic paint from these pens tends to dry to the touch within a few minutes. For a completely cured finish, it is advisable to wait 24 hours before handling the artwork extensively.

Yes, these acrylic paint pens are equipped with dual tips - one side features a fine tip for detailed work and line drawing, while the other side has a broader tip for larger strokes and filling larger areas. This dual functionality allows for greater versatility and precision in your artwork, enabling you to switch between intricate details and bold applications without changing tools.

To initiate paint flow in a new pen, shake the pen well with the cap on to mix the paint. Then, gently press the tip down on a piece of scrap paper repeatedly until the paint starts to flow. Be sure not to over-pump, as this can cause too much paint to flow out and saturate the tip.

  • Great pen markers!
Style: 24 Colors Paint Markers
I absolutely love the Betem 24 Colors Dual Tip Acrylic Paint Pens! These markers are a game-changer for anyone passionate about arts and crafts. The vibrant colors are rich and bold, making my projects pop with life. The dual-tip design is incredibly convenient – the fine tip is perfect for detailed work, while the broader tip covers larger areas with ease. What impressed me the most was their versatility. I’ve used them on wood, canvas, stone, glass, and even ceramic surfaces, and the results have been consistently stunning. The paint dries quickly and has a smooth, opaque finish without any streaking. These pens are durable and hold their pigment well, even after extended use. Whether you're a professional artist or a hobbyist, these pens are a must-have for creating unique DIY crafts. • Had fun for hours with these paint markers.
Style: 24 Colors Paint Markers
Love painting, but I don't always want to pull out bottles and brushes. These paint markers are perfect for detailed work on larger paintings and creating graphic works. Wish I'd gotten more colors but the 24 count I purchased did the job. Dries quickly which is great for layering. Not really meant for blending because colors will transfer to other marker tips. Colors are bright and brilliant. The fine tip is not super fine but held at the right angle it can create lines that are quite thin. When trying something for the first time, regardless of reviews, I try never to have expectations. For me these were better than expected and kept my creative juices flowing with how easy they were to use. Make sure tops are replaced tightly or they will dry out and become useless. I paint for a hobby but professionals may enjoy them also. There was slight pilling of tip material on larger tip with constant rubbing. I've learned to let the paint dry before adding another coat for density. Excellent coverage on mixed media paper. I painted my name on a metal water bottle, and the paint stayed for about 6 months before eventually rubbing off. It may have stayed on longer if I used a varnish on top. My intentions were to test the sustainability. Overall loved the markers, they are easy to wash off the hands and don't have a strong smell unless you put them right up to your nose. Have fun!!! ... show more

These are really good markers! My kids used them to color the bird house! After the rain no colors come off, so they were super excited! After they colored all big rocks we have in our front yard! The last project they created, was coloring of Minecraft character on big box! The pensils smell good, they are very durable and easy to write ... show more

  • Vibrant Dual-Tip Markers with Minor Quirks
Style: 12 Colors Paint Markers
I recently purchased these Betem 12-color acrylic paint markers and have been using them for several craft projects. The dual tips are a standout feature - the fine point is great for details and lettering, while the chisel tip works well for broader strokes and filling larger areas. The colors are quite vibrant and show up nicely on multiple surfaces including wood, canvas, and rocks. The white is particularly opaque, which isn't always the case with paint markers. I especially appreciate that the paint flows smoothly without too much bleeding, though you'll want to let each layer dry completely to avoid smudging. A few minor drawbacks: The markers need thorough shaking before use, and sometimes require several pumps to get the paint flowing initially. I've also noticed that the chisel tips can be a bit inconsistent - some markers dispense more paint than others. The caps seal well, but they're a bit stiff to remove at first. For the price point, these offer good value, especially given the dual tips. While they may not match the quality of premium brands, they're perfectly suitable for most craft projects and hobby work. Just be prepared to have some scrap paper handy for initial paint flow testing. Pros: Dual tips provide versatility Vibrant, opaque colors Works on multiple surfaces Good value for money Cons: Initial paint flow can be inconsistent Some variation in tip quality Stiff caps Would recommend for casual crafters and those looking to try acrylic markers without a huge investment. ... show more

  • These markers are amazing!!!!
Style: 24 Colors Paint Markers
I don’t write reviews often but these markers are AMAZING. I bought them for a craft project (decorating a wooden butterfly wind chime) and they worked perfectly on unfinished wood. They really do look like paint, but they don’t smear and were easy for the kids to use. I’ve now been using them to make thank you notes as I recover from a total knee replacement and they are SO much fun. They don’t bleed through the other side of my cheapo computer paper, but the colors are brilliant and lovely. These markers are making me so happy!!!! ... show more

  • Great color
Style: 24 Colors Paint Markers
The colors of these pens are very nice. cap color matches color. The paint goes on smoothly and dries pretty fast. These work more like a marker, you don't need to push the tip in and out to get the paint to flow. I enjoy using this style much better, and the outcome of my crafts are much nicer. do remember these are Acrylic Paint not white board paint pens. Very hard to get off Acrylic board once its dry. I have found that alcohol swabs are best with a little elbow grease. I do recommend a clear coat. I highly recommend this set! ... show more
