Update: I added 2 more stars because the customer support I received was wonderful. Texartist gave me a full refund for the product. This is much thinner than I thought it would be, but I suppose for the price, a half inch mattress topper is better than nothing. I also bought a 2” mattress topper that was double the price but I ended up keeping that one because it was thicker and more comfortable. ... show more

When I got the item, it was in a medium size box. I opened the box, don't use a box-cutter or knife, just open where the tape is easy to use a small scissor to break the tape. It does have warnings all over the box top about being care with using sharp objects to open the box. I pulled out the mattress topper and it has instructions on how to fluff it up since it has been compressed in a sealed plastic package. I followed the instructions and added the pad to the top of my mattress. As time went on the topper fluffed up even more and is very soft to the touch and not too cool or hot. I purchased this at a good price and it was delivered as expected. I tried to put in the dryer to make it fluffy which it did but it is not as fluffy as the picture. It fits my bed, is very soft and has made my king size bed so much more comfortable.

I followed the instructions when it said to shake it out good and then fluff it in the dryer & then placed it on my bed to air up some more! So far it’s nice! Super soft and plush! Good quality material and stays on the mattress excellent.
