Description

Control fleas inside your home without sprays with the TERRO Refillable Flea Trap. This trap detects, monitors, and controls flea infestations by lure fleas from up to 30 feet away using light and heat as attractants. Fleas leap into the trap where they get stuck fast on a SuperGrabber replaceable glue board. The glue boards will also capture other insects that attempt to cross its path. This trap also features a protective canopy that keeps objects, people and pets from coming in contact with the sticky glue board. The TERRO Refillable Flea Trap is easy to use. To set up, simply extend the canopy until it clicks into place, insert the glue board and remove the release paper, and then turn on the light. Place the trap on the floor in an area where fleas are common – typically where your pet spends a lot of time. Put in a fresh glue board every two to four weeks. This trap includes two glue board inserts, with additional refills sold separately.

I was very skeptical at first. But I did lay it down for less than a second and I had 3-5 flees on it. This works way way too well. I knew I had a flee problem but wooow! I’ve been keeping this on 24/7 My recommendation if you have a big problem is take all precautions. Treat pets, wash things. But most of all by 3 of these, 100 of the sticky pads and 12 light bulbs. Why? Because if you have a serious issue, you’ll really need them. I’m catching maybe 200 flees or more a day. You don’t know what you have until you have this. We got a couple of these after seeing fleas in the house and not wanting to resort to chemicals unless we absolutely had to. These were so much easier, they’re easy to set up and they’ve been on constantly for going on three weeks now and the bulbs still haven’t gone out. But within a few hours we noticed bugs sticking to them, it seems that they do best at night or when the room is really dark, if the room has curtains or blinds I would suggest closing them to help the bugs make their way to the light better. We have a 1500 square-foot house and each room has one in it and has for 2-3 weeks now. I’ve only seen three live fleas in the last week compared to what I was seeing so I’m happy with how these things are working! ... show more

I bought several of these traps. They worked great! But after only a few days, the lightbulb on 2 out of 5 went out and won't turn on anymore ---so those traps are unfortunately no longer working after hardly any use.

I've given this product only 4 starts due to the fact there are better options that could potentially be a more permanent solution. The pros: it is quiet as there are no things that could make noise about it. No cleanup cuz all bugs are stuck to the sheet and the sheet is easy to remove. Its relatively small meaning you could stick it anywhere. I couldn't see this being a fire hazard unless you just don't have breakers. It catches all sorts of bugs not just fleas. But it catches mostly fleas. The cons: I could see this trap becoming expensive in the long run. The sticky mat has only been on for a week now and it's already full of bugs and dust. Ive read other reviews saying the light dies in roughly 2 weeks. It comes with 2 sticky mats so if thats the case you're looking at needing to buy a new one of these every 2 weeks. Which could quickly add up depending on your needs. The sticky trap collects alot of dust and if you accidentally touch it it'll collect you. It attracts more then just fleas which would be great except some bugs can escape the trap. In my experience it was a stink bug and I hate stink bugs. You have to either wait for it to die or attempt to unstick the bug with a paper towel or something which is a huge mess so ofc you'll leave the bug just know it'll get out eventually. All around it's a solid bug stopper but for like 20 more bucks you can just get an indoor bug zapper and they surprisingly kill fleas too. I will post pictures of this trap and the zapper I bought around the same time. Conclusion. It's a nice temporary solution if you don't normally have bugs or just don't like to sweep up the bodies. I'd personally just go for the zapper as it claims the bulbs last up to 5 years and it also comes with 2 new bulbs and it kills all sorts of bugs including the fleas. ... show more

This is after 5 hours on, fleas and a few gnats. I’ve left the houselights off to do as much to attract them to the trap-light and heat as possible, the other (2) traps look the same. I’ve got 7 cats and one of them brought these bastards in, now they’ve all got ‘em. This is just one step and part of a process. Use this in combination with other immediate and preventative measures, this being one that does not affect your cat’s physiology or your surroundings. If you have the means to get your cat (pet) to the vet, do so. If not, getcha some Dawn Original - the one with the ducky gettin’ a bath - and start bathing them; suffocate/drown the fleas. At a minimum, this will give your pet some relief and soothing to their skin. The best care is your attention to detail. Your/their environment determines the next/other steps, but don’t hesitate - it turns into a full blown infestation FAST! ... show more

Bought 2 as my house was infested with fleas.. after one week the light would not work in one even after changing bulbs 3 times.. the other one still works but I needed 2 to always work and now just only one does now.. would not recommend this particular one with bulbs

Works ok. Also put a small led lamp on the floor above a sticky trap for mice. Work well too. Oh yeah, the light died after about 2 weeks... Little pricey without even a second light. One refill pad.
