My husband and I have recently acquired two roosters. My father had too many, and one of them had become aggressive, so he was going to "take care of the problem." The rooster was always nice to me, so I volunteered to take him in. To keep him company, my dad dropped off a second rooster (I'm sure he just saw it as an opportunity to get rid of another one!). They roamed our property and were very content. Well, after a few months, the original rooster started to become aggressive towards us, so we built a fence and small coop for them. The fence is stationary, so we wanted to build an outer, portable fence that we could move after awhile so the "chicken brothers" could some fresh, clean grass. My dad had some left over orange construction fence that he donated to the cause. It did the trick, but boy did it look tacky. After seeing my neighbor post a picture of their dogs with our ugly orange fence in the background, we decided we had to do something. We chose to try this green fencing, and we couldn't be happier, and neither can our roosters. It was easy to put up using fiberglass step-in posts. We tried to use all 100 feet, but we had about 10 feet left over, so we just pinned that to the edge of the wire fence. We will leave this up for a little while, and then we'll move it to a different side of wire fence. The boys have a lot of space now, and even though one of them still huffs and puffs and tries to attack our shoes every time he sees us, we can still enjoy watching him and his brother in their new play pen.     • Use to keep Canadian Geese off my lawn.

I live on a lake which is a favorite for Canadian Geese. They love my property because they have about 250 of lawn between the lake and my house so it is a safe place for them. I can't tell you how many pounds of goose droppings I have picked up over the years and no, contrary to popular belief, goose droppings are not good for your lawn and they are certainly not good for your health (especially dangerous for young children). The geese degrade yards quickly, with each goose leaving 2-4 pounds of excrement per day. Multiply that number by 30 to 40 geese. They also eat the grass to a length that is too short and a lot of grass continue growth and so the grass dies. Studies have confirmed the presence of bacteria, parasites and human pathogens in goose feces. So, I purchased this fence (green color) and put it up on the lakefront, very close (within one foot) to the water. It works great and looks great. No, the geese also do not fly over the fence. In large groups it is too difficult for all of the geese to land and I also think they are just too lazy to exert the effort when they can just swim away and attack another property instead. This is a great fence for geese and best of all, I can take it down when I want to enjoy the lake, take my boat out, or when I have company. The fence comes down in 5 minutes. ... show more

I installed to keep my shepherd out of the garden. He figured out he could just charge through it and it would tear. Depends on what you want to use it for. If it is more for visual it will work fine but as far as a deterrent it will not.

"Brownie" the local neighborhood groundhog has been taunting and terrorizing the DH's garden for several years. He finally decided to do something about it and picked this barrier fencing that he'd seen at Home Depot but because of their practices during the Covid-19 pandemic, we decided to avoid their store. It was packed every time we drove by, no social distancing etc etc. We even tried doing a pickup order but the chaos was ridiculous. He waited 45 minutes then finally said "forget this." Obviously, they just couldn't get it together to handle the surge in traffic. So, he used some tobacco stakes and some old metal fence posts and fanagled a barrier around the garden. So far, so good. He said it was easy to use, he attached the barrier to the posts with zip ties. Said it seems sturdy enough and was easy to cut to size. He'd get it again, hopefully he won't need any for awhile. ... show more

In my opinion, the quality of the item has undergone a change and not in the right direction. I ordered four rolls and three of the four rolls were what I considered high quality. The fourth was not the same quality. The color was different and the thickness was not the same. All had the same UPC. I called with this issue and a replacement was sent. However, the replacement was the same lesser quality product. The picture shows the better product on the right. You can clearly see the product on the left is different. I would give the product on the right a 5 star rating. The one on the left a 2 star rating. Very disappointed as I wanted all of the fencing to match. ... show more

Used to hold up temporary plastic fence. I had no trouble installing. Mid Feb in Virginia yard. Created a smaller space inside my yard to contain dog before and for upcoming leg surgery. Although she’s a very fit and highly intelligent 105 lb Shephard, she’s not attempting to bring fence down. Although 110% capable! Stakes went into soil by hand. Didn’t need a hammer, but could have used. Not hallow inside and slightly pointed end starts the driving in process. When I take it all down, the stakes can be stored anywhere easily. Might even use them to support holiday yard decor and/or any flowers or use as plant stakes. Nothing negative to say :-) ... show more
