This is a thicker & larger-size mesh that works great for keeping the deer away from our magnolias. I'm guessing that it will last several years. If so, I won't ever need to replace it (the trees will be big enough to withstand browsing by then). The mesh-size is big enough that you can thread it over a typical T fencepost. So, you don't need very many zip ties to hold it in place. I used 8 ft. T posts & this is taller than the posts, after the posts are driven in. If you use wire (vs. zip ties) at the overlap post, then you can easily get in/out to deal with weeds that grow up, or to treat fire ant mounds, or .... The thinner stuff also works, but needs to be replaced & worries me that it could trap birds, or at least would be a problem for them (because they can't easily see it). This stuff is so thick, I don't think it's a problem for the birds. We planted 4 (6 ft.) magnolias in early spring & have nests in two of them. ... show more

Excellent quality and very strong fencing. Used to put around a deer plot and garden area. Deer have stayed out and the fence was easy to install. Very lightweight and easy to handle. Cuts quickly with scissors.

We needed additional child proofing on our deck rail, we cut the 6 foot roll in half and used stainless steel Staples to install, the plastic fence is strong and was an economical fix for what we needed.

I was very happy with the quality of this fencing. It seems very sturdy, and well-make. Time will be the judge of that but from my experience, this should last many years. It was easy to install even through my garden isn't on all flat land. I installed a total of 125 linear feet, so I had to purchase 2 100' rolls, but I am sure I will find a use for the remainder.
