  • Watch your hand size - a bit snug for a man who wears XL gloves
Size: 1000 Count (Pack of 1)
First of all, when I made my purchase in mid April 2021, I did get a box clearly (and originally, no sticker) marked as containing 1000 gloves, as advertised. No, I certainly haven't counted them! But others have indicated that they apparently received only 500, when a quantity of 1000 was specified, and there was a sticker with the number on it (see other reviews). The size of the box certainly suggests that it likely contains 1000. The box was also intact; no significant damage (in the picture one corner is a little crunched; that was me). Now to the gloves. I have large hands (typically I wear men's XL gloves in most brands I've ever bought). While these fit, they do so with slight "snugness." Because these are plastic, they don't breathe. IMHO, it's actually a better w/these type of plastic gloves to have a little extra room in them, so that as you sweat (inevitable if you wear them more than a few minutes) you've got a little "give" to move your fingers around. I have not tried them in water/liquids - that wasn't my purpose for getting them. Others have suggested that they may leak or not be entirely impervious to water. I use them primarily to hold the loaves of bread that I bake as I cut them into slices to bag. For that, they're working just fine. I don't wear them too long (doesn't take that long to slice a loaf of bread and bag it) so the sweating and size issue isn't a real factor and I'm not using them around liquids. I'd also be hesitant to use them in liquids because the LENGTH isn't that substantial. They reach (remember, on my man's XL size hands) just beyond the bend of my wrist. If I were to use them in water, most assuredly it would splash/get into the wrist opening and be a wet mess inside the glove (whether the material itself leaks or not) in no time. BUT - for the purpose that I primarily use them, they're just fine, and the price was good. ... show more

  • I needed something practical for the current crisis. This is my review.
Size: 1000 Count (Pack of 1)
I bought the 1000 pack because it was cheaper than other medical gloves. Also I hated pulling them off and figured that the kitchen plastic ones would be better suited to just use once than toss away before I get back in my vehicle. They are small but went up to my wrists, also the fingers felt a bit awkward. The first one I put on, split at the fingers which made me really scared. I then put on another one and it was fine, so quality can be hit or miss. I used them to open doors, pump gas, carry groceries, and my skin made no contact with the outside world after wearing about 4 pairs of them. They weigh almost nothing, they crumple up so you can fit loads loose in a bag, and they are super thin. I had a bad experience with medical gloves when I realized that they were powdered and I was covered with white hand prints on my black clothing. I never wanted to deal with that again. Had to decide whether or not I would use a lot of hand sanitizer or wear disposable gloves. This was cheap enough to do both. Right now I'm in NY, and everyone just seem kind of utilizing safety products the wrong way, but with these its easy to remove them and throw on another pair when doing tasks that you don't have to worry about wasting them if you buy the 1000 pack. Would I buy them again? At the rate of the pandemic, I'm sure one of these will be enough. They didn't break anymore after the first pair. ... show more

  • Using Them As Added Protection Against Covid 19
Size: 1000 Count (Pack of 1)
I purchased these disposable gloves to protect me during the ongoing pandemic, so this is not the use they are designed for, but I’m happy with them overall. First, they are easy to put on and wear. I use a bit of baby powder inside them to make it easier and keep them a bit dry, but in the very humid weather where I live they will be soaked if you wear them outdoors for a while. I like their flexibility in allowing me to do some tasks while I’m social distancing, i.e. use my phone. Mostly they serve as a reminder not to touch my face, so I wear them whenever I leave the house. They do tear when you do anything strenuous like carrying heavy boxes etc. but they were not made for that. I just like them as an additional protection from touching a surface that might be contaminated and for that they work well. Easy to take off without touching the outside before scrubbing your hands. Again, my review has nothing to do with kitchen work, but I’m very happy with them for helping to protect me from the virus. Maybe someday I can use them for cooking! ... show more
