This obnoxious message will flash at you every single time you turn on the soundbar. This sort of behavior needs to stop. Life is full of too many notifications, popups, and disruptions we don't need. Whoever at JBL thought this was a good idea should be fired. I PAID for this product, please don't harass me with messages like this you can't remove. I, like most people, have no desire to connect an appliance like this needlessly to wifi. And I don't need devices saying "hello" to me just because they have a display, and can. Other issues: 1. midrange is severely lacking, voices are not clear. My 10 year old cheap soundbar did better. 2. One of the screws broke in half, shockingly cheap metal. 3. Clearance between cables and wall mount is poor, there is stress on my HDMI cable because of this. Plugs should be more recessed or at an angle like other soundbars do. I hate to have to leave a bad review like this but expected better from JBL. ... show more

As i was expecting this JBL soundbar sounds superb, the sorround sound and bass are great. Love that everything is packed in the soundbar!! No extra pieces needed. For the first time in ages i can hear perfectly the voices on the movies. Ussually the music is louder than the voices but not with this soundbar. My only complaint is the volume, i think the speakers of the tv sound louder than this soundbar, obviously not as great. But i think the soundbar should be able to go a little louder for the cost of it. I bought this for the living room but because of the volume its been set on my bedroom. So, I had previously gone all-in with SONOS for multi-room speakers, tv speakers, etc. I was always kind of disappointed with the quality from SONOS. If you don’t pair it with a sub, it just falls flat. Also, SONOS is always falling out of connection and you have to reset everything completely. So, I’m SO GLAD I discovered JBL has multi room. Starting with this sound bar, which sounds fantastic (even without a sub), and was super easy to set up, works perfectly (my SONOS was always way out of sync with the picture), I’m going to slowly replace all my SONOS with JBL.
