Oh my goodness do these work well! They are better than any sponge I have ever tried. With cold water they are rigid and tough, great for scrubbing tough things. With warm water they get soft and pliable allowing you to do normal things like wash the inside of a glass. Once dry they go right back to their rigid shape, they dry so easily!!! These are sturdy sponges that do a very nice job of cleaning pots and pans. They don't scratch but they do a great job of removing all the food and crumbs - better than those pads that have a sponge on one side and a scouring pad on the other. The ridged portion of the edge is great for cleaning narrow places. The sponge itself is easy to hold and holds soap well, too. The only thing I don't care for is trying to clean utensils - you're supposed to put them in the happy face mouth to scrub them but this doesn't work all that well. I use a regular cleaning pad for that, but for other surfaces this Scrub Daddy is my go-to. They last a long time, too. Well worth the money. ... show more

When I first opened these I wasn't sure about the texture. After using one I've decided I like them better in the kitchen for dishes than any other sponge. Very absorbant, good for a general scrub. These sponges are very stiff and hard unless you use hot water. It takes a long time for the water in our kitchen sink to get hot so most of the time I use them they are not soft like a sponge should be. They are good at scrubbing pans and stove top, but not good at cleaning counters and have no absorbency. I do like that they don't absorb odors.
