As with many dogs they can be very skeptical of you sticking things in front of their face or in their mouth. These teeth cleaning cloths are a bit different. As long as your dog is used to you sticking your fingers in or around their mouth they will not mind this one bit. My dog dis not have a care in the world when I used these in her mouth. She just thought I was inspecting her teeth or something and was none the wiser that I was brushing her teeth. As for effectiveness… I am happy to say that they do seem to work. Just in the first try I could see some darkened area on the pad, leading me to believe that something that would have just been stuck on came off. As for cleaning and removing tarter, that will be a longer process and not something that is going to come off in a day or even a week. All in all I would have to say that these teeth wipes are a win. Anything that my dog does not run away from and shows that it might be doing something is something I will keep using to keep her teeth clean. ... show more

These dog teeth wipes are so easy to use, with one caveat, they don’t fit on my fingers! However, I cut the one side down and then wrapped it around my finger so I could use both sides of the wipe to clean teeth. My dogs are used to getting their teeth brushed and examined daily, so using these was no big deal to them. They have no tarter, but a little bit of plaque on the oldest one. I was able to scrub as hard as I’d like and the wipe didn’t tear, which is a huge plus. It seemed to remove quite a bit of plaque off their teeth, which I really liked. We are almost done with the container, and I’m pleased with my results. I may buy another to keep on hand, instead of just brushing all the time. ... show more

    • easier to use than a tooth brush
We got these for our dogs. One of our dogs doesn’t mind the dog toothbrush but the other one, who has worse breath, does!! She was always better if we put the dog toothpaste on our fingers so we thought these would be perfect! It is nice to slide on and slide off. Initially we were worried they may fall off in their mouth - but shockingly they stay on the finger very well! Our dogs breath is pretty rough sometimes and we aren’t sure why, and these appear to be helping!! For only 50, depending on how often you use which the container says “use as needed”, the price may be a little steep depending on your need… but I think they’re a good option for dogs who don’t like the brush! ... show more

    • Works pretty well
My dog hates having her teeth brushed so I wanted to see if this was a good substitute. Overall she tolerated them well and didn't seem upset which is an added bonus! We plan to continue using these in place of brushing for awhile and hope to see similar good results!

    • So easy to use!
We brush our dogs' teeth every other day. We have to purchase the finger brushes and the toothpaste. This has something already on the wipe so it makes it easier to use. Plus, you don't have to wash them! It did a pretty good job. I like to be able to feel that I'm hitting their teeth so it is nice to be paper to do that. Like another person said, you really only need it to your first knuckle. So I did like her and cut it in 1/2 and had to hold it with my thumb to keep on my finger on the bottom portion. It does clean but of course, won't get any tartar that is stuck on. But, this should prevent it if you do it daily or every other day. My pups seem to like the taste and have no issues. ... show more

I have four small dogs and brush their teeth about once a week. I realize that’s not enough and got these to use between brushings. These are easy to use and my pups tolerate them well. I honestly can’t tell if they are doing a lot but I am sure they are keeping the tarter from getting worse. My dog doesn't love these, but she tolerates them a lot better than a toothbrush, which is all I could hope for. I like that I can feel her teeth with these, so I know for sure I'm actually brushing them.

Our pup thinks a tooth brush is the worst thing ever, so we started using the spray which helped a bit, but she didn't love that either. Just started trying these and she's much more amenable to the wipes. It's too early to see if they'll help break down old tarter (it doesn't appear she'd had any cleaning before we adopted her), but so far they're working out great. ... show more
