MY FIRST ATTEMPTS DID NOT ENABLE A NEW OS. I MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS AFTER THAT TO MAKE SURE I WAS DOING ALL THE NECESSARY STEPS.....TO NO AVAIL HOWEVER. I AM GOING TO HAVE A TECH ADVISOR TAKE A LOOK AND SEE IF I AM DOING EVERYTHING CORRECTLY. IT GETS AS FAR AS COLLECTING INFORMATION BUT THEN WILL NOT DOWNLOAD THE OS TO THE FILE THAT WAS AUTOMATICALLY CHOSEN. IT STOPS THERE AND WON'T GO ANY FURTHER. I WILL LET YOU KNOW THE OUTCOME. I SHOULD KNOW BY THIS WEEK WHETHER OR NOT I HAVE TO RETURN IT. P.S.: I HAVE RETURNED THE USB DEVICE. If you are hesitant buying this because of the one bad review on here. Please understand that person clearly didn’t know what they were doing! I don’t know what I’m doing and I winged it and got it goin! My hard drive was fried and has OS put on prior to me purchasing it, so I had no OS when I put the new hard drive in. Only issue I had was from lack of knowledge and experience and had to wing it when it came to boot priority, I couldn’t find a setting that was clear and easy to see. I had to disable the first priority popping up which was the new hard drive I installed. I highly recommend this, it was on time. It worked like a charm and I had no computer for over a year and the solution was this easy and less than 100 bucks with hard drive and OS. Wish I done it sooner!     • ...when I finally received the shipment!
The Windows 10/64 bit kicked but in restoring my 2013 Dell to like new condition. Having the program loaded on a jump drive made the procedure as easy as F12 "boot to USB". The laptop was completely inoperable except for the on switch. This jump drive brought it back to life.

Instruction from seller wouldn't work, I managed to get it installed but it won't activate. I messaged the tech he gave me a different key code, same results. 2nd time I messaged him he said to reinstall and he would send another key code, I did, and asked for the key code, silence from him. It's better to spend 130.00 from Microsoft than go this route and lose 80.00 ... show more

    • When your Windows 10 computer gives you the blue screen.
My cat walked across my laptop computer. This had happened many times before. It's difficult to completely guard against it. Usually, the unorthodox keystrokes caused by the cat walking and sitting on the keys, causes some small problems. Through trial, error and online searches, I have have learned which function keys can be used correctively to turn back on my sound, camera, wifi and other features. Should a really big problem be caused, I have Rollback RX Pro to return my system to the state it was in prior to the feline shenanigans. However this time was a true Cat-astrophe. I'm not quite sure how it happened, but within a few seconds my cat had forced the system to start and stop in such a way it corrupted the Windows system AND the Rollback RX protection. I didn't have a Windows restore disk. This product, which I received via Amazon in about two days was a lifesaver after great tech support told be Rollback RX Pro had been trounced and wouldn't be the solution this time. I wasn't sure if I had the Windows key, so I purchased the version that included it. The purchase was well worth the cost. I did go online to look at videos on how to use this type of restoration device, so I knew exactly which options to pick at about two critical crossroads.
