Upon receiving the Windows Repair USB, I attempted to install it on my new laptop following the provided installation instructions. Unfortunately, I encountered significant issues during the installation process, which ultimately failed. The error code message "0x8007025D" was displayed, and upon further research, I discovered that this error code indicates corrupted installation media. The Windows Installation/Repair USB I received appears to be of a very cheap and generic quality, and it has proven to be defective. Given that the installation media is critical for resolving system issues, I am disappointed that it did not perform as expected and instead caused additional problems. I have attached a screenshot of the error message as well, for your reference. I believe it is only fair that I receive a refund since the product was defective and did not fulfill its intended purpose. ... show more

I had to replace my hard drive with a solid state drive after a serious malfunction in the factory original. I looked up how to replace the hardware and realized I’d need to create a USB with a new copy of Windows. Only problem was that the laptop that suffered the blue screen of death is my only computer. That’s when I went to good old Amazon and looked for a copy of Windows. I was extremely hesitant because of the poor reviews but I now believe it’s just people who are not familiar with YouTube. Setup was super simple and within minutes I was up and running again! The instructions that are included aren’t the best but seriously people watch a video!! I’m no computer technician, my claim to fame is formatting my AOL profile and MySpace with html other than that I’m clueless with tech! The online videos were helpful and the installation went almost flawlessly. I did have an issue with my soundcard. It would not recognize it. Took me several hours and several trips to the Dell and Microoft sites for assistance. Finally resolved the issue but I am left puzzled why it did not work correctly. This product did not load onto my computer and the support site listed on the instructions would not open gave an error message evidently this product does not have the drivers needed. I am getting message that there are no drivers Decided to buy dvd win 10 with drivers. Waste of money.

    • BIOS update failure.
The Windows update failed because a BIOS update to UEFI was required first. The BIOS update failed because several other Windows files were missing. Supplying those files from another PC caused another type of failure. Gave it up.
