This was a new install on a newly formatted disc. Worked first time without difficulty. Surprising.

    • CAUTION MAY BE FRAUD ATTEMPT
First, using the device produces the following " Selected boot device failed, press any key to reboot the system. That should have been an indication that something is wrong. Used the explorer to gain access to files. Device did not install or repair windows. Installed an operating system that is NOT WINDOWS. Presents a black screen and does not open windows 10 screen. When attempting to change screen, system says you must activate windows. Called the number and got a person with a non-English accent who attempted to get credit card information and other information. Now a system that was working that only needed a correct activation key has a black screen that can not be changed because there is no activation possible with this product. I expected a DVD/CD, I received a cheap flash driver that would not load as a boot device. I wonder if Amazon can be held responsible for products sold on their website that may harm a person's computer. Just a thought for Amazon execs. In any case this product may be hazardous to your computer. Would NOT recommend purchase or using. Hope that helps. ... show more

We are having a hard time getting the programme to install. New SSD installed, unless we are missing something in the install instructions. We cannot get up to the point of using the activation code. The quality looks fine. I don't know about its features, I have not been the one to install to a blank SSD. So determining its functionality, features is unknown to me. I needed to reinstall Windows 10 Pro on my PC and I did that easily with the provided USB. Everything worked okay and Windows Pro was installed. However I was not able to activate Windows 10 Pro with the key that was included. I contacted customer support via email and they provided a second key however it did not work as well. Error message is: "The product key you entered didn't work." I asked for customer support to help troubleshoot the issue I was having. No one responded. It seems this product is a scam and I would STRONGLY advise against anyone purchasing it through this seller. ... show more
