I bought for my adult daughter. She said it makes her head itch. My scalp itches quite often and this helped my scalp calm down. It’s too expensive now and I found a cheaper brand tea tree shampoo for scalp that works better for me. This bottle has gone up eight dollars more so I wouldn’t pay that but it does work. Has strong tea tree smell in shower doesn’t bother me but did my daughter (but strong smells bother her). ... show more

We use this to strip the buildup of other products (with additives for body or shine etc) for a clean scalp and clean hair for coloring etc. if I had an injury to my scalp, this is the shampoo I’d use as well. Good stuff.
